HighwayUnicorn Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Regardless of the fact that I generally had a good day ... my morning was AWFUL! I left the house at 7.15am this morning and went to the bus stop. My bus came relatively on time, a few minutes late as always but it didn't bother me. And I'm usually out of my local so-called 'town' by 7.40am and then reach my destination at 8.10am. But no. There had been an accident near me. There's been some speculation but there was a body on the ground, covered over and four police cars and two ambulances. We don't know if the person is injured or worse but I don't really want to think about that anyway. So my bus is running extremely late and I didn't get out of my home town until 7.55am. And then I got to Sidcup and wanted to cry ... they had changed the destination of my bus! Grrr! So I had to get off the bus I was on and then got lost, had to phone my dad (beneficial when your dad's a London taxi driver) and he had to tell me to get on another bus whcih would take me right outside the university. The day got better after that though.
Lucii Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 My dog got put down today She was seventeen and lived with my grandma and grandad and they came out to tell us. She died in my grandma's arms So we all got abit emotional but as older siblings we're trying to keep it from my little brother until after his football match because he was out with his friends and we didn't want to upset him. He doesn't understand why I'm crying though and it's just horrible

My dog is twelve and riddled with arthritis and we know there will be one day when obviously, it;s us putting her down and it's awful. I don't think anyone can quite relate unless you've had a pet and it's happened ... I'm really sorry for your loss and remember, there is no shame in crying and being upset about it.
