And besides, being single means you get to look at all the fish in the sea And have no commitment, no constant boy trouble, and the endless partying at uni, of course Hehe .. that is very true. I do enjoy the endless parties!

Ben and Jerry's ice cream, while watching back to back episodes of Friends! or Glee And besides, being in a relationship (especially at our age) is so overrated. Although I'm a little older (only by a couple of years), I fully agree with HU. It's only very recently I've learnt to appreciate being single, but better late than never. Yeh, the idea of having somebody to love that loves you is a lovely one, but I personally adore the individuality of being alone. I like the freedom. The being able to go out with friends whenever you want. Or have a lazy day in with ice cream, PJ's and DVD's and nobody else to worry about. I know it sounds like I'm just trying TOO hard to sell being single to you, but I promise I'm not. Just remind yourself of all the things you've done as an individual that made you smile. After all, we weren't born as one half of a couple. We were sent on inividual paths to do with our lives what we choose. Keep your chin up, hun. Even if it doesn't seem like it now, there are so many perks to being single

Sometimes I think I do forget how much I enjoy my independence ... no doubt it would be something I would miss if I was in a relationship again. Not that I would lose it entirely but I agree with you about your lazy days with ice cream, PJs etc. Those and a few other things are definately the nice things about being single. And you are so right about each of us being sent on our own individual paths ... it made me smile reading that. You do a good job about making people feel better about themselves! Thanks again to you, HU and Zetti for the advice! It is much appreciated!
