I had an appointment at 10:30am so planned to catch the 9.17am bus in, which usually turns up on time. It didn't arrive. So the next bus was at 9.35am so I waited... that didn't show either. I didn't wait around for the 10am bus because by the time I would get in to town and the 15 minute walk to the place I would be completely late. Did I mention that I was stood outside for almost an hour while it was raining and sleeting? Oh joy. So I rang to re-arrange. Turns out there has been an accident blocking loads of traffic getting through and the place knew about it, so there was no problem on that end. (So I walked to the Co-Op and bought a big bag on cheesy-puffs and 2 chocolate twists... to get me out of my funk... )
