Computers were only for pupils with dyslexia, etc. My school is not at all rich. We don't have money for pencels and paper, but money for lap tops..? OF COURSE we have. We got 21 lap tops on 48 (?) pupils (on he school) and then some dyclexic (sp?) kids got their own lap tops. Grr. Wai, I'll get my mother to log on to the school server and get some photos ;) Here are the laptops But my mum said something about getting rid of them because every pupil from the 8th-10th grade will get a lap top on their own. Computer room, all the computers is bought cheap from companies that is replacing their 'old' computers Nice! It's not like that at all here. I guess your school gets more money because of where it's located. The goverment has promised more money to electronic teaching-methods, also in videregående skole (secondary school/high school), because of this whole "free cooks"-thing. I hope they have sense enough to invest in good computers with good software, and that there will be enough money to buy new computers as they get old. I went to a arts high school, no other subjects, and we worked on really old Macs. The system administrators knew less about Macs/computers than me (that was before I got into it), and there were always problems with the computers/computer room. Not enough machines/too many students.

Yeah they're giving us more money because they don't think we're civilized enough And after the polar bear thing it will get ALOT harder to explain people that we do not live in iglos running around with baths hunting birds I'll get my own laptop on vidregående becuase it's all electronic learning (losa), we have all our classes online

Yes, it's really common in Finnmark (lol ) and it's so good that some school want's to take it in because they have aprentice (??) places so if someone wants to be a nurse they can be at the clinic 4+ hours a week.
