I've just fallen through the patio doors - ouch. Cal - I now have bruises to match yours from when you fell onto your phone after falling out of bed! Ouch! :P

Haha! Sorry. :P

My bruises have gone, So I am afraid you are on your own!

LOL! I'm all on my own! :( My legs are neither use nor ornament...pointless bones attached to my hips. They hurt when I walk too much and then give way underneath me when I need them the most! It s**ks! :P

Why are you feeling guilty Mar?

Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that I have a friend who takes on a lot of cats, have them sterilized and finds new homes to them. She has a little girl-kitty in her bathroom now, waiting for a home. I so want to have her, but.. I feel guilty. Molly only died yesterday.

I know it might be hard....but you don't need to feel guilty...you're not trying to 'replace' Molly.....no-one ever can, you just want some more companionship, it might help you feel better...

Mar, you should do whatever feels best. When my friends cat died (which I loved!), he got another one. It helped him get over the fact that the other cat was not coming back.

You shouldn't feel guilty Mar,when our dog was put down,i couldn't even be home[the vet did a housecall].When we got our 2 golden retrievers we felt a guilty, esecially mum,but as Cal says i think it helps you move on.And Molly loved you and would only want you to be happy,i'm sure.

I don't know how old she is, but she is currently under treatment for ring worm (if that's what it's called in English), so we can either have her now or when she's done with her medicines. I have to talk to my mom first, though, since I live with her.

I feel really guilty.

I felt guilty when i lost Amy, and Steve wanted another cat. Even though we had another two cats, i changed my mind after i thought that i could give a unwanted cat a loving home. So we had William, that was 8 years ago. Because you have a new cat, does not mean you love the other cat less.
