Yep! And several grand richer! :P My Dad isn't even a football fan yet we're having a BBQ tonight and he's insisting that we have the game on. And even though he hardly ever drinks, he's stocked the fridge with alochol! :P Bizarre.

LOL! Any excuse for a BBQ and a few drinks :)

My dog's been taken to the vet's due to constant vomiting. There's something wrong with her liver according to the blood tests, but we don't know if it's just an infection or something more serious yet. I'm staying positive, but I could do without this at exam time. :(

Piles? What's that?

I can't exactly take a shower anyway it's 11:17pm here.

Whats the deal with a shower you can wash any time of day.

Here you go.

Haemorrhoids are very common. They are said to be more common in countries where the diet has traditionally been more processed and low in fibre. The main contributory causes are those things that cause us to raise the pressure in the abdomen. This causes the blood vessels to swell and become engorged.

It seems that the people most at risk of developing haemorrhoids are those who have more causes for raised abdominal pressure, such as:

* Those chronically straining with constipation.

* After or during pregnancy. Here, the baby may actually press on the main blood vessel that returns blood to the heart (the vena cava).

* Overweight people.

Awww Liz! Sorry to hear about your dog! :( I hope it's nothing too serious....

My moan: Why the hell can't the academic year be restructured so that it runs from January to December (with a big summer break in the middle) but that exams run in December, so that we don't have to be stuck revising in the summer! I'm getting really bad sun stroke at the moment and I'm sure it's not helping my exams. :(

I am allergic to my new kitty.

Awww! :(

My moan: I have carpet burn on my legs because my 3-year old brother just insisted that he wanted a race to see who could get down the stairs the fastest...on their bum! He won. :P
