Say both Tomato Sauce and Ketchup around where I live. My moan having to go to work when England are playing I want to have a drink and watch the match not be serving the drinks for everyone else.

We call it both. Strictly speaking, I think that the Heinz is 'ketchup' and everything else is 'tomato sauce' I think. But since Heinz is such a big and popular brand, ketchup has slipped into everyday language to mean 'tomato sauce'. A bit like 'Hoover' and 'vacuum cleaner' I think. I hope that makes sense!
