MarMar Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I guess there's some comfort in knowing that. My father died of a serious illness, ALS. I never asked my sister how his last days were, but I can guess that they weren't good.

But remember although there was alot of friction between your family and mum it does not mean you are not allowed to grieve for her in your own way and in your own time. When you have it clear in your head of how you feel then you will allow yourself to grieve. Im thinking of you mate xxx.

I wasn't close to her at all, hadn't seen her in about 4 years or something so I'm not sure how I'm exactly meant to feel.. but yeah, it's still not a great time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aww hugs chick, even though you weren't close im sure it's still saddening, sorry for the late reply

I found out that my mum left a couple of notes basically just detailing how she was sorry at the way things had turned out and what had happened in the past. Majohn, I'm sorry that your dad died the way he did. You might not have been close to him but it's never easy to hear that someone died painfully.
