My great great aunt was sectioned illegally, she has early stages of Altzimers but to section somone you need permission from two qualified doctors, a social worker and a blood relative but the person who sectioned her never had permission from family! So for the past two months she been held against her will because she expressed her wishes not to be held there and some people now claim they have authority over her money and now shes finally been 'discharged', they say that she is only allowed to have certain amounts but really they don't have permission from my aunts closest blood relative in fact they have no permission from any relative. Its annoyed me soo much because she has a daughter who is 43 but has Downs Symdrome and they have never been apart and for the two months that she was in hospital, they were apart and only saaw eachother like once a week. This was very hard for both of them now Social Services are saying she can see her daughter once every two weeks for an hour. Like its been really upsetting and now to find out that it shouldn't have happened! I'm just now annoyed at Social Services and that Solictor because shes not someone they could ask for permission it should ahve been my mum or my mums cousons.

I'm just so mad because she isn't even that bad (not yet anywa) like yeah she forgets things but I don't think it was at a serious concern stage where they section her against her wishes and with my family permission! This has been going on for two month and we only just found out not this company who have hold of her money could do anything with it, but now hopefully we can get a solictor to get it back.

Pierced Musie Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I was planning on selling my Alias DVD's and buying the complete collection. The layout (Rambaldi box) was beautifully designed and is compact. I just found out that the region 2 (UK & Europe) complete set is completely different to the region 1 (American) set. The UK boxset is horrible! So now I have to make a choice. Keep my 4 seasons and buy the 5 OR still sell them on and by the region 1 box. Help me decide
