The 'have a moan' thread

Grr why are some people just so unreliable!

I'm supposed to be picking up my last bits for christmas in Nottingham with a mate who I've gone in with every year for the last 6 years - it's become a sort of tradition. Though it's not usually that enjoyable as I never get to go where I want to as he spends ages wherever he goes...

Anyways he said we'd be doing it as usual, I text him last night to see what time he'd be here - no text back. I've been waiting this morning, just phoned him and he was still in bed - turns out he wasn't planning on going in, and seemed to have forgotten to inform me of that!

But he's coming over anyway and coming in with me, even though he doesn't have to buy anything - if he'd said yesterday I could have picked my last bits, cards etc. up in Lincoln

Though he needs to come over here as he has an external hard drive of mine which he said he was bringing back last Sunday - of course he never turned up...

I'd love a moan right now.

I got terrible news. And it's bad that I think it's terrible. Because it's supposed to be happy news, but I only feel bad about it. And I can't talk to anyone about it because I would appear heartless to not be happy about it.

And Christmas has overwhelmed me this year.

But that's nothing compared to what some other people are going through. I feel kind of guilty now.

Brokeback Mountain was released yesterday, so me and a few friends went to the local cinema and they said that we’ve decided not to show it which really pissed me off.

So we went to another cinema and they said the same thing.

I really wanted to see that film. Now I have to go Vue Cinemas Islington. :(

This is the one with Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal (or however it's spelt), yeah? That's stupid that they're not showing it, I think it's going to be majorly popular.

I guess not!

There was an interview with Jake Gyllenhall in my sister's magazine and he talked a bit about Brokeback Mountain. It sounded really good to me, a bit different to other Hollywood movies and that's a good thing! :)

Grrr.... it's almost a week since I ordered Six Feet Under season 2 from a Norwegian book/DVD-site, and they still haven't done anything but registering the order :(

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

they the cinemas don't wanna lose customers by showing the movie

as lot's of people still aren't quite comfortable with the topic/issue

so by not showing it they don't lose money

besides Arthouse cinemas will defently show it
