People who take forevr at the movies and then whinge when i go to get served becourse they've been in front of me for ages..i don't haave all day people. move it!!.....Also peoople who sit in wheelchair spots at the movies..today the ciinema was full and the usher asked some people to move.People who hadn't been askd to move sad ''can't you sit there''?and pointed to a spot wth no seat next to it so my friend could sit next to me.My friend said no,''we can't sit together there''....seriously how would they like sitttting apart?t peeves me of that they don't think i deserve the same courtesy they do....anyway my two pointless moans for the day,lol.
I love music Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Okay, being stuck at work etc all week, this is the only time I have to write...for a precious couple of hours... and the old guy in the flat downstairs has a problem with his electric. First of all, I have to phone and explain everything for him, then each time the electrician needs to come in and out I keep having to press the intercom for the door, then I'm taking the phone calls from the landlord to see if it's sorted... I AM sympathetic, I mean, he's old and all, but it means I'm not getting any quality writing time. Let's hope the electrician's finished soon... Actually, on the brighter side, that electrician's quite nice, you know...
carmelle Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Im moaning cause i have a few essays (ok maybe more than a few ) to be getting on with, but i cant bring myself to go and start them, even though i know i need to. At the same time im bored and i have nothing to do (apart from the essays)and to make it worse it's a saturday. Im too broke to actually go anywhere, seeing as I spent all my money during christmas and the sales. Ah The joys of student life.

Not as if had enough, the last week or soo! Had no landline since last Tuesday, It took me a day to realise I had no phone, also another day to get through to report it. As they had a few problems of there own at the customer services centre. An engineer came out this afternoon. He checked two cable junction boxes across the road. Ok there! Then checked my cable that goes under garden, over the roof to my box. Nothing my phone line is dead! He said he could see a kink, in the wire that goes over the roof. Well the cable has been there ten yrs, his things! it’s possibility it’s either worn! Or snapped somewhere! He phoned, to see when the right people could come out. He was told Monday morning. He then went, He then came back again. They as we’d had total loss of phone line. It’s classed as an emergency. He then told me they could come this afternoon. A few minutes later he was back again, it’s too much of a big job to do. So Monday is the day they coming. He then went again just for a few seconds, He forgot to leave some info for the people coming to mend it. Bless him he was a sweet guy, apologised that kept disturbing me and he could do no more to help. I could have had a temp phone connected, but it meant having a few cables around the outside and inside the bungalow. Not practical, with Tom been at home. I have my mobile, and the important people have my number, so it’s not all bad! I’ll have a few messages on my house phone though!! One thing I def have not missed is. Those abroad call centre calls; about you have won a mobile phone, etc… Also with all this stress, had a massive sickly headache, most of yesterday and right through until this afternoon. Feeling not so bad now.
