The Sydney news stations always lie about the weather in Canberra! :angry:

For example, they just said it was going to be raining and cool in Canberra, when in fact it is sunny (with no rain predicted) and 31! Their weather map even showed Canberra as the only city with a big sun on it!

It might not seem like much, but Sydney and Melbourne people are downright awful to people from Canberra, and they think it's their right to always put us down. Think of how many of you have laughed at our weather - when we actually have hotter summers than either bigger city. I have lived all over the word, and it's my choice to live here rather than in Sydney or Melbourne - or anywhere else in Australia.

I bet they don't know Sydney actually gets more rain than London every year!! :angry:

Help, I am over weight and I feel depressed. I ate two packets of crisps and a chocolate bar. And sometimes I binge eat when I am bored , sometimes I buy 100grams of crisps and eat them in 2 days. I keep doing this, and weigh 12 stones at 168 cm. I feel so fat and ugly. I dont want to wear clothes, make up or anything because i am just a fat beast. :(

I am just going to turn fatter and fatter. I dont know i am just going to enjoy food. :angry: tried so much and I dont lose weight.

I know how you feel. I was so overweight and I felt horrible. Everyone was being mean to me at school, I couldn't find any clothes and I felt so ugly. I used food to comfort me so of course I just got bigger and bigger. I'm dietting now and so far have lost about 13kgs. I feel much better and look better. I've still got quite a while to go but so far I'm really happy with it.

EDIT: If your 12 stone that means you are about 76kgs. You only have about 10 kgs to lose)

I was 16 stone (100kgs) at 171cm I have to lose 35kgs (5 and 1/2 stone)

Thanks. I just knew that if I didn't change now then I would regret it for the rest of my life. I've still got ages to go but I'm just taking it one step at a time.

At the moment I'm stuck and I can't lose any weight. I know I should be excersicing more but I really hate doing excercise by myself etc. I love playing team sports like soccer but I have no one to play with. Any ideas?

I think taking it step by step is the best way because if you lose the weight too quickly, it goes back on, right?

Emm.. aren't there any teams or anything you can join at your school or in your area?

Yeah, if you lose it too quickly when you go back eating normally all the weight will just pile on you.

I'm definetly joining a soccer team but thats a winter sport, and it's summer here. The season won't start until May/June :(

Ah right, that sucks.

Can't you persuade any of your friends to take up.. jogging or something with you? Or if you have to do it alone just take along music. Works for me, lol.
