Okay I really, really need to moan. I am having one bitch of a day.

My plans for the day: Meet my Nan and Grandad at the Hotel I used to work at 10.00 to sort out gym membership for them.

Meet my boss at 10.30 at the same Hotel to get work from him.

Go with him to meet a client at 11.00 in Queensferry.

Go to work at 11.30.

9.45: Getting ready for work, realise my selfish sister has taken my coat for work and my other one is in the wash so I have no coat.

9.50: Go to get the car and realise the same selfish sister has blocked my car in with hers and has the keys with her at her boyfriends house in Liverpool. Mum has the spare set in work. A fifteen minute walk away and I have no coat.

10.00: start walking, phone hotel and boss saying I'll be late but can't get hold of Nan and Grandad.

10.25: Collect Mum's car from her at work. Having left Nan and Grandad waiting for fifteen minutes decide to go straight to meet them. Have a near crash in Mum's car which I'm only insured third party on so arrive at the hotel at 10.25 really shaken up.

10.30: Phone boss to say I'm running half an hour late he says he'll meet me in Queensferry at 11.00

10.55: Still at hotel because their system crashed have to phone boss again and say I'm not going to make 11.00. He says he'll do meeting without me and meet me at a hotel by mine to give me the details and stock I need.

11.00: Arrive back at mine, move sisters car out of way to find that my car has a nearly flat tyre on the drivers side. take it off and put the spare on. Check other tyres while I'm there only to find that the front passenger side tyre is a complete flat. Take that off to check it and it has a nail in it. It then starts to pour down and the jack holding the car up collapses on me.

My meeting has been put back again. Meeting my boss in fifteen minutes in selfish sisters car which I'm only third party on then I'm going to have to come back, hope that one of my neighbours is in so I can borrow a jack. Then try and see if I can pump up drivers side tyre with the compressor enough to get me to a garage to get both changed. If I can't do that I'm going to have to call roadside assistance except that home start isn't part of my policy so it's going to cost me a whole heap of money. Oh and when I've done that I have to go to work, because I didn't go in yesterday so can't afford two days off in a row.

I feel better having got that off my chest. Rant over.

And a message to kids, never buy a car, get the bloody bus. Far more reliable.

Just to add an update... Met my boss, got back. Neighbour lent me a jack so started putting the car on that one but there was sounds of metal cracking so he bought me a hydraulic jack like they use at the garages. As I put one jack on he put the other one on and the second he put his jack down the metal on the under rim of the car collapsed on the jack I had trapping my arm and he just managed to get his jack on in time before my arm was crushed. Now I have a sprained wrist a spare on one tyre, a pumped up flat on another and a crumpled heap of metal where the rim used to be around my wheel.

And add to that my best friend just phoned me, I've not seen him in ages because he lives in London and he wants to take me out but I can't go because I have to work now thanks to not working this morning. :(

This day is just getting worse and worse. Its eight now and since I last moaned my car has been put into a garage to fix the crushed metal with no doubt a huge bill. I used my Dad's car to go to work tonight and crashed it into a post. There's now a dent in the boot and a load of plastic broken around the button that opens the boot. I didn't say anything because I'm planning to deny all knowledge but Mums taken the car to go shopping so she's bound to find it and I am going to be in deep ****.

^^I came here to moan about my day but decided to read about your day first and have just realised my day wasn't THAT bad after all.

I'm glad it's nothing more than a sprained wrist after all that.

LOL thanks! Glad I made you feel better anyway. I've cheered up now but I felt like sobbing earlier.
