Feeling ****e, apart from the slow and painful recovery from my recent kidney problems. Which I'm still in pain and sick with it most days.

Then got up this morning with a bad throat, cough and fever :( .

Tom keeps asking me to talk, cause I have a raspy, deep voice. He keeps nearly pissing himself! laughing

I'm off to bed to cuddle my five cuddlys from a certain someone

I've been apartment hunting for what feels like too-long-a-time now. All the nice-ish places are waaay to expensive/too far from uni, damn even the crappy places are waaay to expensive. This sucks big time. :(

Hope you have some apartment-luck soon :)

My shoulders has been acting up the last couple of days but when I woke up this morning I thought it was all better.

Now I'm not so sure.

The left is "ok", but the right is so bad that I can't dress/undress myself. I can't braid my own hair and I can't reach the microwave.

Ok, I can, but it hurts like hell, so I'd rather not.

My first thought is a trapped nerve. Do you have a hot waterbottle or a heat bag? Ice can also help shoulder problems :)

Carmelle, are you looking for an apartment of your own or are you looking at share accommodation? And which area are you looking at?

Merc - hope your shoulder gets better soon

Musie - I don't mind sharing an appartment, infact for someone moving out for the first time that may even be the best option, but I'm not really sure, I could be so wrong. London area, central. Living in London is never going to be cheap, then there's travel!!!

I think a shared apartment is the best option when it comes to London. If money is tight at the moment, save a little bit more then look around.

I bet you that come June/July time, there will be loads of apartments on offer.

Yeah, I'm saving as much as I can, but when i think that I've been searching since last November, it pisses me of, I'm also lookng for a job, but that's just as annoying. Still not giving up yet!!!

My Pa said something to me that really stuck. He told me to try searching for one thing instead of two, that way you'll find what you're looking for.

How about searching for a local job for now, save some more money and then look for a place to live. I think part of your problem is that you are looking at the wrong time of year. If you look for a place in the middle of the year, you'll find places pop up. These places will generally be places where students are moving on.
