carmelle Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Moan: I was asked to join 2 friends for a few drinks and a meal today, after they finished work. So I decide to go and meet them at our usual meeting place. When I get there I find that I am early so I wait...and wait and wait for what seems like ages. After almost an HOUR of waiting I rang one of the girls and she explained that she was still at work as she was asked to stay behind at work and was't going to make it. I didn't even get an apology for not letting me know earlier. What was worse is that she knew that our other friend wasn't going to make it even though I didn't. So I made my way home in the end as there was nothing else for me to do. I am angry that I was made to sit around for ages without no explanation. I am angry that by the time I did get an explanation, I had wasted my time. I am angry that I had to spend money travelling into the city and back for no reason. I am angry that I had to miss my Friday night TV (for no reason). I am angry. FULLSTOP. I'm sure I'll get over it by morning...but right now I'm !!! Ok moan over!!!
