Actually, it feels a lot like that. Dad's busy cleaning the house for the arrival of the family, it's bloody hot, Dad just wandered by with a box of decorations, and I've had no sleep. Christmas Day if ever there was one. Only without the presents, and with nonsensical R&B junk on the radio instead of Mum's Christmas records... Maybe I'm just delerious from the not sleeping... Also, I think I've already burned some bridges at a new message board I started posting at - and that was before I BUILT any bridges!! Oh well. I'm too sleep-deprived to care... Better to know now whether they like the real me or not rather than walking around on eggshells trying to avoid conflict...

Spent half an hour on the bus to get a form, got harassed by some guy selling something because I dared to do the polite smile and nod thing instead of stopping to listen to his spiel, bussed it back to uni to get said form signed, bussed it back to the post office to hand in the form, and got told I couldn't because I don't have the right documents. To that end, since when has a proof of age card been a SECONDARY form of identification? It's primary for everything else! So now I have to wait until the bank statement I ordered comes to hand the form in, which means I'll be late handing ANOTHER form in, and there will be hell to pay. And then I got home and slammed my finger in the door and it's bleeding through the band-aid. And I have to write a report on a performance I can barely remember because I was so whacked out on painkillers at the time I did it. AND I was so stressed I broke my diet and I have a weigh in tomorrow. Rant over.
