The 'have a moan' thread

As well as mountains of uni work to do I have just come back from The Galleria. I went there in the hope of getting autographs from Bobby Morley and Jessica Tovey BUT stupid security people kept letting people cut in the line. I got there at about 11.15 and the line was already heaps long. We lined up waiting as Bobby was due to come out at 11.45, but the way they set it up, they only baracaded in the first metre or so of line and then the rest was out in the open. So we were standing in line watching people walk past, then stop, have a look and crowd around the front. People were coming from the other direction and hopping on the front of the line. 11.45 came and went and they kept saying he would be there shortly, with Jessica. Then the security finally decided to get of their a*ses and do something about the people who had cut in. So they put up one of those flexible barrier - AROUND all the people who jumped on the outside of the crowd. Only about a third of them have waited like the rest of us in a LINE. The stupid secruity people should have gone THROUGH them!! Not around! AS a result the line was three times as long and we were going nowhere fast. Bobby and Jess finally arrived (to much happy screaming), but we still weren't moving. Those that had pushed in, were up and getting autographs and us in the line had moved about an inch. My mum was with me and started going slightly bezurk at the security people, who just kept saying "I didn't see anything". We were yelling at them telling them that those people cut the line! If I had wanted to I could have slipped around the side and jumped the queue too, but no, I felt bad if I got infront and went back to the rightful spot in the line. Bobby left before too long, and then they were announcing that more All Saints people were coming at 1pm. It was now 12.45. So I wasn't going to see Jess at all even if I stuck around, because those stupid people who cut the line were up there, they were taking there sweet time. And no effort was being made to hurry them along. I am in no way blaming Jess or Bobby, but those security people should have contained the line well before it blew out as it did. The thing that p*sses me off more though, is that how come those of us who do the right thing didn't get anything. But those who sneak in cutting off everyone, without a second thought, get rewarded.

GRRR!!! Petty maybe, but it just made me so angry and all I got for 2 hours standing in line, was a few photos of peoples heads.

I apologise for ranting for so long, but needed to vent somewhere. Feel free not to read my post, as it would take too long.

My moan: ex-boyfriends who deny all knowledge of still harbouring £80 worth of their ex-girlfriend's electrical equipment and refuse to discuss the matter on the grounds that they have now "lost all respect" for the ex-girlfriend in question, just because she's finally found happiness.

My moan: Essay to write, and suffering from a case of writer's block that occurs when ever there is an essay deadline looming.

Flower arranging course is over, my sister is just a step away from moving out... and Ma won't let me keep a pet slug !

It is a giant slug that is outside the door and when I gave it a name, it's head came up!

I enjoyed it so much, I plan on doing it again in the spring. Quite a few of us are planning to go back and do it again so I won't be with strangers next time.

I never thought I would adapt to college life like I did. Now I plan on doing more courses in the Spring and applying for something next September
