MarMar Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Ohnoes! Plans keeps falling through... I was going to meet up with one of the bands I shot two weeks ago at the Zoom-competition. At first, last Friday, when I contacted the journalist she said Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, so when I hadn't heard anything yesterday she said that she didn't know when I could get some shots as she had spoken to them, but never more than two of them at the same time, so, no photo chances. The culture editor called me today and said that the journalist had emailed her saying the band were practicing tonight, so maybe I could meet up with them? I texted one of them after finding his number on the Zoom-site and he called me back saying the practice tonight won't happen. So, we're gonna have to use promo-pics... as the deadline is tonight at 6pm (of course, I would get an extension if I were to do the shoot) and there is no real chance of doing it before next week, i.e. after the next number is out. I also said I could shoot the pictures for two other stories but I haven't heard from the journalists at all... Not sure what I can do cuz I feel it's their job to make the appointments and let me know when they need me. I've already said I can pretty much every day this week, so... it's not up to me. But, we've got a journalist for the Melody Marshals concert on Saturday, so hopefully that'll work out.

T was supposed to get internetz at his place today and he's still not online. 4 1/2 hours after it should be on. I know it's silly and immature to be upset over such a trivial matter, but I've been looking forward to getting to see him every day, even right before we're going to sleep. At the moment it doesn't seem to be anyone who knows when they'll be online, but considering the centrals went down "some days ago" it doesn't appear to be anytime soon. And suddenly a couple of days ago the cell phone reception started getting wonky. It wasn't a problem at all when they first moved in, but now I'm almost impossible to get through and when you do it's impossible to keep a conversation going over all the "I can't hear you, you're breaking up..." and "helloooooo?" and "you there?" Actually crying at the moment I'm so frustrated, sad and angry.
