The 'have a moan' thread

I found out last night that my friend's plane was one of the aircraft involved in the crash over staffordshire. It wasn't until this morning that I found out that he was the plane that managed to make an emergency landing at West Midlands airport but he was damned lucky to do that, very few pilots could have managed it. I feel so sorry for the two people who died and also for my poor friends who now have a huge repair bill which is about the last thing they need and for me because I got no sleep thinking they had died.

I slipped in the shopping centre yesterday because someone must have spilled something on the floor and now my ankle is sprained and purple.

I hope your ankle gets better soon. I sprained mine once. Since I've never broken a bone or given birth (THANK GOD!) it may well be the greatest pain I've ever experienced. Ouch for you

The ouch is kinda worth the $50 gift voucher I got as 'compensation' I must say. I'm so stingey... lol. Actually getting waited on like I can't do anything for myself is kinda cool too, I think I just turned a moan into a positive.

Hehe, gift voucher. You could have sued them for millions. What if you're too traumatized to go shopping ever again? Or the injury means you'll NEVER be selected for the Olympic basketball team?? And it will be all their fault!

You have to think about these things. Or maybe I've just been watching too many American news reports about devestating snowball assaults...

Aww hun . Hope things will be ok soon for your friends. You caught up on your sleep.

I have a chest infection and my kidneys been a tad more sore than they have been in last few weeks.
