Cal Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Aaaaand crap. The Grand-parents won't be coming down for Christmas. Gran is in hospital. Everything is fine, but we think she has a bug. And bugs and old people don't gel well. It's scary hearing it, my other Gran died before Christmas last year... so it's crappy.

I hope she gets better soon. I wake up on the first day on christmas holidays sick!! What the hell!! I was fine all week ... Wake up and my head hurts, throat hurts, month hurts [wisdom teeth ] ... everything hurts and now I am dying off cold...

She hasn't been admitted yet, she is still in A&E. It's also Loughlinstown Hospital, which is like the dirtiest place in the world. People go in there with a broken finger and never come out. Okay, over-reaction, but you get my drift.

Okay, over-reaction, but you get my drift. ^^Hospitals terrify me enough without hearing all the horror stories, but try and stay positive. *HUG* I hope your gran gets better soon. My moan: As great as it is to get and even give presents for Christmas why can't people just relax and enjoy the holidays/break from work/school? When I see people around me getting so stressed out and worried about trying to have this "perfect day" it gets me stressed and worried, when all I want to do is have a break and enjoy my free time before I have to go back to uni.

MarMar Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 1 1/2 hour + 3 children under 10 (at least one diagnosed with ADHD) + 4 teenagers (one with autism, not exactly sure on which end, although I don't think he's particularly HF) + 8 or so adults = stressed and tired MarMar.
