aejdude Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 I just got a huge puddle wave by a car when I was waiting to cross the road! I swear drivers do it to you on purpose! LOL! Lol. That's happens to me sometimes, they probably don't even realise they do it.

I was once waiting at a bus stop for my school-bus and a girl who gets the same bus got up to put something in the bin just as a Jep drove past splashing her. It was quite funny, but she wasnt laughing. You'd think they'd decency to stop and apologise. But as aejude said, they probably dont even realise.

TabbyCool Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Drivers can't help it if there are puddles in the road, sometimes it's hard to see if it's a proper puddle or just a little bit of surface water anyway. Sometimes they can drive around the puddle, but if there is someone in the other lane it's not always possible. I suppose pedestrians just have to stay as far away from the road as possible when there are puddles, after all, we are the ones who will be wet, the drivers will be nice and dry in their cars! Saying that, I'm sure some people do splash people on purpose!

Hahaha! Yeah it's good just to get one up on somebody you really don't like. And I'm sure drivers do know that they would splash you. Some drivers see you and move slightly over and it wasn't a busy road. Ah well. **** happens. And we move on!
