Oh dear GOD! I ordered one of those long handled spider catchers yesterday fromt he web, with the intent to bring it to Australia with me but to be honest ... I'd prefer to kill spiders than set them free outside; means they have another chance of coming back again!!!!

Do Huntsman spiders bite? [ive seen pictures - SHUDDER!] i can't imagine having a spider run at you with the intent to BITE, that's just wrong - they can't bite over here, and are nowhere near as big as the ones you guys get in Australia [our biggest are daddy longlegs!]

oh god oh god [shudderdie] the thought of them crawling on me, or being in my room .. i'll never sleep in the dark over there, that's for sure!

I've never let one close enough to me to find out if they bite, but I'd assume so. They're not poisonous though, so I can just about stand them being in my presence. As long as they do not move. At all. AT. ALL.

If I ever see a funnel-web spider, I think I will pass out. I mean it. They're huge and black and deadly. I... really don't think I could take it. My sister in law used to live a few streets away from my house, and she had lots of trees on her block of land. She said there were funnel-webs in the pool all the time, and crawling across the carpet, where her baby played... Hence moving AWAY. I also found out, after leaving high school, that the trees near the oval were so densely populated with funnel-webs that collectors would actually go there to capture them... Ugh.

My 4-day weekend to London is over. It was great!

To all people who will be travelling with Eurostar in the next few days/weeks/months: be patient because there will be delays.

On Saturday we arrived in London at 11.01am instead of 7.55am. This was the first train of the day!

Our train had problems with its doors and therefore couldn't leave. They had to find another solution. It took them forever to realise we could take the other train standing next to ours. And because we were running late (2h20 min late) we had to let other trains go in the Eurotunnel first and had to wait about 40 min before we could get in! Fortunately, we're getting a refund.

And last night, we arrived 56 min later in Brussels. We were lucky we didn't have another train to catch. But many passengers missed their train because of the delay.

And one more thing:

Red traffic lights mean you have to STOP! It doesn't matter whether you're a pedestrian or driving a car! It doesn't matter where you live (London, Brussels etc.): RED means STOP!

I'm going up to London tomorrow for the MPH show/ Top Gear Live. [which you would have thought I would be happy about]

however I suggested that we get the train up but then cause we weren't sure what time it finished my dad would meet us there and then drive us home. which is a) cheaper b) there is no chance of missing the train and getting stuck in London c) warmer etc.. I could go on.

But OH NO thats to easy for my friends. We are going to risk it and get the train back going on all the tubes [which I really hate] and then running to catch a train. AND we will probably have to leave Top Gear early.

ARGH why do my friends do this to me?!?!?!

I was typing away, minding my own business, when I looked up to see a huntsman spider on the wall above my head. Weeell it was about that time that I covered my mouth to keep from screaming, jumped out of my chair and went into the loungeroom to get help. My dad was already in bed, and my mum is as useless as me. Worse, because all she could do was complain about the mess in my room. When she KNOWS that I have hundreds of assignments to get through before I can even think about cleaning my room. LIKE THAT SHOULD BE THE ISSUE WHEN THERE'S A F*CKING HUNTSMAN SPIDER ON MY BEDROOM WALL, RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD!!!!!!!!

I won't post a picture, but for those who don't know, huntsman spiders are... large. This one would have a leg-span of about 10cms, I'd say... *shudder.*

so i googled huntsmen spider to satisfy my curiosity (not believing the 10cm leg thing for second) and oh my f'n days just looking at the picture freaked me out! I wholeheartedly apologise for thinking you were exaggerating. I don't think im ever gonna be brave enough to visit australia.

what could be worse than the diwana site being closed for up to 8 LONG DAYS!! meaning no episodes from now on for us uk viewers.

THIS MEANS NO ADELLE!! which gets me annoyed! i cant wait that long! i'll have a fit or something!!

my withdrawl syptoms have already started now and not even a day has gone by yet!

just as thursdays and fridays epi with adelle gets closer, this happens!!

I was thinking exactly the same thing. my AWS have started already.

I'm just so upset that I wont be able to watch the episodes. Why does Diwana have to die while i'm on half term.

I couldn't go to the theater with my other friend cause she didn't read the tickets and you had to have an adult go with you [i mean it was written pretty obviously on the ticket so God knows how she didn't see it!]

I could go on about how much life sucks right now but i wont bore you all.

And that is what is almost putting me off moving to Australia...that and the occasional shark attack I hear about.

Speaking of which, mum and dad left for oz about half an hour ago...so jealous

i am freezing here in ireland. i got 2 teeth out yesterday... one of my teeth was really soar. the needle tasted disgusting.

i also hurt my back, so now i can't look left. tomorrow morning i have gaelic football(irish sport) training because we are coming up to are final. so it's outdoors which means i'll be covered in muck because its constantly raining over here.

i am having a bad week. and its half term- i've still got tonnes of homework left
