so i googled huntsmen spider to satisfy my curiosity (not believing the 10cm leg thing for second) and oh my f'n days just looking at the picture freaked me out! I wholeheartedly apologise for thinking you were exaggerating. I don't think im ever gonna be brave enough to visit australia. :(

lol, that's okay. No one wants to think about spiders that big being in the house...

And that is what is almost putting me off moving to Australia...that and the occasional shark attack I hear about.

Speaking of which, mum and dad left for oz about half an hour ago...so jealous :P

I don't go in the ocean if I can help it. Sharks don't worry me - apparently you're more likely to get struck by lightning than you are to get attacked by a shark - but there is sea lice and blue bottles and crabs and jellyfish >.<. Also I don't like seaweed touching me, and I'm too weak in the water to battle the waves for too long... I dislike the feeling of being in a washing machine, about to drown. And the sand is all clingy and gets everywhere, and the wind's always whipping it into your face, etc... I dislike the beach, except to look at... And seagulls! Seagulls are irritating. Stealing chips, getting closer and closer, being intimidating...

koalas mating outside my bedroom window last night! grrrr...didnt get to sleep til like 6

 How lovely for you. I bet the kookaburras started at 6 too

Agree with everything you said about the ocean except sharks scare the crap out of me. I don't know why, just thinking about them freaks me out. When I came over to oz and went to Sea World, I was out of the little underwater aquarium thingy so quick just because I could see the one shark that was in there and he looked scary as f*ck...the chances of be ever being close enough to a shark to be more freaked out than that are slim to none yet I'm terrified of them  I used to freak out and look away when they played the shark attack episodes of Baywatch

Anyway, after my shark fearing rant, my moan...not only are my parents on holiday right now, my brother has gone and paid for his tickets to oz for next year. Everyone is getting their holiday except me and I still have a honeymoon to go on...eventually <_<

^^I get the same way about frogs. Although the chances of being savaged by a frog are probably even less likely than that of sharks. :D

so annoyed. Security at the James Bond premiere last night was UNBELIEVABLY tight 'cause Prince Harry, Prince William & apparently the Queen herself were all due to arrive, so they had the place sealed off - and unless you had a 'ticket' to get into the park in the square, you weren't able to see ANYONE!!! It was the WORST premiere scene I've gone to - and I've been to a large handful down there!

Been looking forward to the new James Bond since July :( Really upset that it was so bad last night; I ended up just going home at 7pm.
