I worked at a christmas party for Telecom last night and there was 1000+ people there we nearly ran out of Alcohol, Nobody gave 2 hoots about the hospo staff (we kept getting pushed and shoved around, and then we would have empty glassware going everywhere :( ). At the end of the night we swapped to a cash bar and we had all of these dirty drunken people taking warm beer off of our clearing trays. and.... Opshop were there ( have to rant about that because Telecom's shares are struggling to stay above $2NZD yet they can afford to have a really popular kiwi band come to Wellington and play) there was another band that played later and they were so noisy I had to put earplugs in which didn't help at all

And today my body aches all over because I worked 2 nights in a row and I did sooo much walking and heavy lifting last night

Oh, I also started at 2pm again but I didn't really mind that

Actually they didn't pay for Opshop to be there.

I hated working in hospo at this time of year. I was so pleased when I could hand in my resignation at the restaurant. People are awful when they're drinking.

My jandals rubbed and I have a blister between my toes :(

I've just spent the last hour looking for two of our cats (we have four). I was starting to really stress too because last time we couldn't find one of our cats he had been hit and killed by a car which was really unexpected beacuse we live down a quiet culde-sac. Anyway we found these cats, one of them was stuck in a wooden, crate box thing. She had managed to get in it but couldn't get out. The other one had simply been sleeping in a neighbours garage, ignoring my calls and the sound if his bickies. Bloody things get me all stressed out over nothing.

At least they are ok :)

Our cats do that. We have two. You go looking for them everywhere and they are just asleep in the sun in the garden. Argh...they are so annoying.

Don't you hate that. You just want to drink the thing and not burn your tongue on it!

I have a cold/flu but it seems to be getting better already...hopefully!

^^ From what I can see your a singer, and I like to believe I'm one as well :P This has happened to me numerous times before. Don't try and sing, dont speak, rest your voice. If you can stomach it drink hot lemon icky stuff, if not just keep drinking water, tea and take soem of those throat sucking things that don't help but will at least give the illusion that your doing something :P

Just relax, and don't strain yourself :)
