I love music Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 I really, really wanted to have a break from all the Xmas socializing tonight. I just wanted to sit in, drink tea instead of alcohol, chat on the phone to my friend, see if there's anything good on TV and most of all catch up on some writing - all like I'd planned to. But now my brother wants all the family to go to the pub for a Xmas drink this evening and it looks very unChristmassy if I say no... Now I'll have to text my friend to cancel our chat, go out in the freezing cold to sit in a crowded pub and abandon my plans to write... I sound like Scrooge, I know, but I've just had enought of drinking and everywhere being packed. I guess family is what Xmas is all about tho and I'll probably enjoy it.

And I only drank about 3 ciders then had about 4 Baileys on ice so I didn't have a hangover today.
