emmasi Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 My friend and I were playing a poker machine at the pub. Our favourite kind of machine. It wasn't paying out. We kept feeding money in, and nothing. Then we went over our limit and got the feature. Then, thankfully, we broke even. Then we stopped playing. Then a happy young couple came and played the machine after us, and walked away with $60 -___-

So I decided to make his cake tonight and have something at the inlaws tomorrow 'cause we won't get another chance. So I'm icing the cake at 9pm and the freakin thing is melting. I've never done some thing so crap in my life. And then it started falling apart. If my mother in law wasn't there I would have thrown the bloody cake at the wall. I still may tomorrow. Stuff it, next year, I'm paying someone to decorate one. Or I'll do somehing easier.

I'm sure i've already gone through a box of tissues today. Plus I'm trying to research my final essay for my open uni course which i have just over a week to write on the basis i need to post not email it. And my friend panicked me today when she called up and said she's bumped into one of our work friends and had some potential bad news. I thought my nemesis at work was causing problems again, turns out she'd seen the comment my ex had put on his facebook page about us and was worried if i'd seen it. No need for her to be concerned it was a lovely comment saying i was great but we just worked better as friends than lovers. Only just started to calm down after the initial panic!

She's a really nice dog, she just gets excited. Unfortunately she'll probably be put down. If that's not something to moan about, I don't know what is I don't mind pitbulls either. It's people's fault that they've been bred to be aggressive. Dogs shouldn't be destroyed because idiots want to pay other idiots to watch them tear each other apart. It's not like they can't be trained to settle down. I spent 15 minutes with that dog yesterday. She went from jumping all over me to sitting with her head in my lap. Watch The Dog Whisperer some time. He's got like seven of them! It's also the fault of idiots that untrained dogs get out of unsecured yards and attack kids, strangers, and other animals because no-one bothered to teach them any better. People suck
