I have to complain about the men in family although some of my friends have boyfriends and/or male relatives acting like this too. So it's not only in my family. When they're ill, they're acting like they're dying. They keep on moaning, act like we don't know what it's like to be ill and stay in bed the whole day. But when we are ill, they expect us to clean, to cook, to do the laundry, the dishes, the ironing, to buy groceries etc. because we don't moan all the time and we actually can come out of bed. We might not complain that much (although I do know 2 women who are just as bad but they are not relatives) but it doesn't mean that we aren't sick. Why can't they just help us when we feel sick by doing a bit of housework? It's not going to kill them. This is the 21st century! Women don't have to do it all by themselves. My rant is over.

SAB Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 amazing how the pool pump always has to go to hell me and my mate were supposed to go gambling tonight, but then he informs me that he's taking his work mates. I don't know these people, never met them, so it's gonna be really sucky that he will be socialising with them while I look on like an idiot. So to get out of it I told him I have work, which I don't really.

I know what you mean about the walls being thin, My neighbours are noisy too, I can hear them having a bath and that is not good as they are loud
