I agree with your post 110% To go after him, and not one of the other members of this "gang" tells me exactly what kind of person she is. One who doesn't want justice, but publicity and money. Matthew Johns is one of the nicest people I've ever seen. He exudes nothing but joy and kindness. Now he's the one who is shattered, and I've yet to hear a single other person of this "group" named. Why? Because even if Matthew Johns is guilty, which I don't think he is, this is not about justice. This is about cutting down the tall poppy and destroying his life for nothing more than material gain.

Did you see his interview on ACA?I only saw a bit on the news but he looked devastated.I think he's being stood down while it's being investigated so i hope the stupid b!tch is satisfied now.Had your fun yet?

Wow I always thought mothers day was on the same date all over thw world. We had ours in March. emmasi Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 If it's true, of course I would feel sorry for her, but in the meantime a man is suffering - having his entire career and life torn apart - on the basis of a media-frenzied accusation. There is no evidence that this happened, and credit to him for even admitting to being there. He could have easily denied the whole thing point-blank, because there's no proof. There might have been proof seven years ago, but isn't it convenient that she hasn't spoken up until now? (A week after The Footy Show got another Logie, coincidentally enough.) Matty Johns was famous then too - if she knows who he is now, she knew who he was then. He just wasn't AS famous as he is now, which is why I'm suspicious of it all. I also don't think he's ever done anything like this before or after, so it's very hard to believe that it happened the way she says it did. What I could believe is that other members of the team raped her, and that he just happened to be there. Like, having a beer out in the bar or something after he'd had his turn . I suppose if that did happen, and he knew about it, that would be an accessory to the crime, if anything, but I just can't believe that he would have it in him to hurt anybody. I believe him when he says that there was a consensual sexual encounter that they all regret, but everyone has done things they're not proud of. Not everyone chooses to tell lies about the other people involved to make themselves feel better about it, or to get instant fame and fortune during a financial crisis...
