Matthew Johns is one of the nicest people I've ever seen. He exudes nothing but joy and kindness. Now he's the one who is shattered, and I've yet to hear a single other person of this "group" named. Why? Because even if Matthew Johns is guilty, which I don't think he is, this is not about justice. This is about cutting down the tall poppy and destroying his life for nothing more than material gain. Did you see his interview on ACA?I only saw a bit on the news but he looked devastated.I think he's being stood down while it's being investigated so i hope the stupid b!tch is satisfied now.Had your fun yet? Um, thats really horrible. Number one - where is any money coming from? The ABC wouldn't have paid her. Noone else has paid her. There is no money. Why did she mention Matthew Johns, because he was a main instigator and in the room the entire time, and he's the one she remembers the most clearly. So she's not just throwing names around willy nilly. How would you feel if that was you? You call her a stupid *****? THats horrible. Really horrible.
bikinikill Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I pretty much agree with Jem.Of course i feel sorry for her if it's true,but she waited seven years.That alone has the sound of cash registers going off in my ears.She's ruining the poor mans life.To add insult to injury players who treat woman like animals get away with it.Matt isn't denying haiving sex with her,he's denying it was rape and i believe him. She's runing Matthew Johns life? How about how her life has been ruined? You can't be absolutely sure about what happened. And these cash registers you keep talking about. What money did she get and from where? The ABC does not and would not pay for these interviews. You are looking at this through a very very slanted POV. Its not pretty.
Lise Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 ^ Correct me if I'm wrong but he and whoever else involved will probably have to pay her compensation. My Physio has decided that I need to get my back x-rayed to see if it's the bones or the muscles in it that are making it sore. I've been to get things done at the hospital heaps of times (I'd rather forget some of them) but I never remember getting an x-ray. I'm 99% sure it's not even the bones that are sore but I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry.

If the only reason she was doing it was the money she would have gone to one of the commerical networks that actually have money. Not the ABC. And nowhere has there been any sign of a court case or compensation.

And going after the famous guy, why would she just name him and no one else? I don't know, I wasn't there so? But anyway I'm just going to take this with a grain of salt. Not trying to be disrespectful to her, but announcing it in an interview after this long.. not even trying to get justice out of the publics eye, it's a bit suss. But I do feel a tad sorry for her.

Maybe she waited 7 years because there was no opportunity like 4 corners in which to air what happened. Not to mention that she was completely distraught by it so perhaps it was so devastating that she couldn't talk about it before now. What if that was you? What if you agreed to have sex with Matthew Johns and someone else, and many many other men entered the room whilst this was going on and watched it happen? How would you feel?
