I have spent enough nights up until gone 4 on here (often a little the worse for wear) and I promise you will regret it at school/uni/work/life tomorrow.

I find the time difference concept far too mathematical for my brain and assume that everywhere in Australia and NZ is exactly twelve hours ahead of the UK. I do realise this is very dim, considering the geography/distance, but then I am quite dim, so never mind. The bit in Sleepless in Seattle when the radio woman asks Jonah why he is up so late, and he says "It's not that late in Seattle" is just way too much for me! It's one country! One country = one time!
Dan F Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Thankfully the other housemates have gone home for Easter - if they were here then they'd probably wish that they weren't at the moment! The girls have been around and decided that they don't want to move in, the rooms we have available are a bit small - However they have opened up another option for us by asking if we want to move into a house with them - they are looking for the same thing, a house in this area, with parking. They're looking at a couple of houses tomorrow, one of which is a 5 bedroom with one room being used as storage. Fingers crossed......

It's a shame you can't stay where you are, but at least if you can move in with other people you will find it easier to find a place. There are more 4-bed student houses than 2-beds, believe me. I saw some real dives when I was looking, and that was in January so I dread to think what the ones still available now might be like. Try and restrain yourself when your housemates come back. You don't need to be facing charges as well as the house-hunting stress! I take it that because of this situation you haven't been able to go home for Easter? Or were you not planning to anyway?
Frankie Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 My Pc graphics card is stuffed..I can barely read what is here..I can't read my posts so I am sure my spelling is totally crap..I'll probably get a SPAG warning...LOL...I have tried kicking the PC but it does not work.....It is doing wonders for my temper...not...I am so annoyed...I am supposed to be doing an assignmnet as welll......stomps around screaming uncontrollably...in frustration...

We haven't been able to go home for easter due to the amount of work we've got to do - we went back to mine for the weekend but came back on Monday - to be honest we'd forgotten about the house stress as we thought with it being in the hands of the letting agents, that they'd get someone and we'd be fine. We didn't really think about the possibility that they wouldn't find anyone......so now we've got this back on top of us once again

Frankie, I realise this is a little off topic but I was just wondering what you do? It says on your info that you normally live in Oz but are presently over here in the UK and you put that you are trying to do an assignment, are you over here studying? Hope you don't mind me being nosey...
