I've been blocked from posting messages on Facebook. I wrote "hi" to a friend and got this message:

Warning: This Message Contains Blocked Content

Some content in this message has been reported as abusive by Facebook users.

The f***??

So I'm trying to find out how or why this happened. I went to the help section and the closest thing to an explanation I could find was this:

I have been warned for engaging in behavior that may be considered annoying or abusive.

Facebook systems determined that you were repeatedly using the same feature in a short period of time. Your activity caused your account to be flagged as potentially abusive.

Once you close your warning, you must significantly slow down or stop this behavior. Further misuse of site features may result in a temporary block or your account being permanently disabled.

The F***??? I hardly use Facebook! The only thing I use regularly is the Scrabble application, and according to another of their "explanations," Facebook don't govern applications, so even if I have been "repeatedly using the same feature," if that feature is Scrabble - an application - it shouldn't matter.

The only thing I can think of as being abusive is my saying that "I want to slap Todd Lasance" over the coke thing, and I wrote that on my own page, not his, so it's not like I was abusing him... Could one of my "friends" seriously have reported THAT as being abusive ?? Jeez, I should weed out some of my contacts if that's the case <_<. And if not... I don't think I like Facebook very much, if they've taken it upon themselves to block me for no apparent reason, and without any kind of explanation, other than those which make no sense and have nothing to do with me.

They didn't even send me an alert or an email or anything! How is that fair?!

I can't even delete the potentially "abusive" post, because they've completely frozen all of my messaging abilities. If I actually used Facebook properly I would be climbing the walls with anxiety. As it is, I'm just pissed off that they can silence the private communications of people without any warning or explanation. I didn't realise I was living in Communist China <_<

I couldn't find anywhere to do that. I have a tendency to miss these sorts of things, but they've already taken the ban off so whatever. I had my wall messages set so that "everyone" could view them. I thought that just meant "everyone" who was visiting my page, but now I think that maybe Facebook has taken them out of context and posted them elsewhere. I often see messages from people I swear I've never heard of before, so maybe someone like that saw one of my messages and thought it was abusive. I don't know. I've set my messages to "friends of friends" now so... hopefully that will stop it from ever happening again. I just think it's disgusting that that's the way Facebook chooses to operate. How hard is it to notify me of WHY I had a ban placed on me, so that IF I did something wrong, I can avoid doing it again ?

I am soooo tired! I have had to work so much since I started this new job and what with college and work, I've only had one day off for about 3 weeks. And it is bloody cold! :(
