Some people do insist on 'their' spelling of Abby same as the misspelling of Leah.

Glad it wasn't just me that thought Justin was being pushy over  Theo not seeing Abby because of her drug problem, Leah, for once,  was more restrained and told Theo it was his decision.   That was rather sad that scene with Theo and Abby when he broke it to her that because  of his previous relationship with a drug user he couldn't risk going there again, even though Abby is in recovery.  She seemed to understand why he couldn't see  her in that way, but apparently not.  Just bad luck Levi couldn't take her call when she needed him.   People are still calling Tim Abby's counsellor.🤬     Dana, hopefully, manages to talk Abby round.  We can all be tempted, it's if we can resist or not.  Theo asked Mali if he knew about Abby's problem but as he said it was private to her so wouldn't/couldn't talk about it.  Not that it stopped Kirby.

Cash, I think wanted to escape his 'guards' which is why he went off.  But why the cop shop, do off duty cops just randomly wander in and use the  police computer?  As said before nothing illegal in checking people on social media, that's what it's there for. He did jump to a huge, mistaken, conclusion when he saw that woman with her arm round Tim's waist and he saw the ring on her finger and the fact she had the  same surname. He was made to look a like a right plank though when it was revealed she is his sister.  😁

Another enigmatic quote by TV Times this time it says 'Theo cashes in his chips.'   which I hope isn't an euphemism for him dying.

Kirby mentioned to Mali about Remi's plan to restart Lyrik and she appeared not too be that bothered.

Abigail wavered but didn't give in, although she probably would have done if she'd had drugs readily to hand. It was nice to see Dana showing her caring side to someone who isn't Harper, John or occasionally Xander, and making use of her own history to have some insight into Abigail's mental process. Eden, after years of cutting Levi out of her life, suddenly finds herself the outsider in the family. Remi got given the opportunity to ask some pertinent questions but isn't going to tell her what to do.

Bree decides not to go back to work yet, which is probably for the best. I'm still not all that keen on her refusing to tell anyone other than Remi the truth.

Roo's being rather dogmatic about Alf needing to keep the bait shop, but having been dragged back there, I guess she needs something to do.

Does Bree loving riding Remis bike annoy anybody else or is it just me?

It's the hypocrisy when she was giving him s*** for riding it a while back.

The Alf/Bait Shop stuff made me think "Now That's Home and Away"

Dana was brilliant the way she dealt with Abby and did manage to talk her round.  May have just been me but I think she had an inkling of why Abby was hanging around the drug trollies so that is why she just suddenly seemed to appear. She was so good with her, leading her gently away, without causing any fuss and yes she did have her own experience to go on.  She got how Abby was feeling and  did manage to gently persuade her to call Levi.  It may be a bit of a cliche handing out a leaflet but she knew that one could actually help as she had been there.  Levi was suitably grateful, wonder what that idea Mac was going to run by her?

Of course later she had her own mini upset when Xander landed a placement for his course in Melbourne and is going in a couple of days.

Bree has made the right decision not to go back to work if she feels she's not ready yet which is a good sign that her counselling  is working. Couldn't there be some sort of arrangement by her bosses for her to do some other kind of duties at the hospital so at least she'll feel useful in some way.  Maybe embarrassment which is why she hasn't told anyone?  The old 'she's a doctor so should be able to handle that' thought.

Eden has changed her mind about wanting to move due to  Cash's behaviour as because as she said that house is their home and she shouldn't feel she ought to leave, Remi and I'm guessing Kirby feels the same so Remi buy the place for heavens sake.

It is Roo's thing to get involved, though that as we know can backfire.   It was  a two pronged attack by her and Maz.  That article got in the paper pretty quick, she only had the idea the other day unless  we skipped a few days?  Is it really 20 years since he opened it, I thought it was longer.  It was a great piece she got Alf's contribution to the bay down to a tee, not just flogging  bait, fishing equipment, but his advice.  He did seem pretty chuffed when he read it. People do tend to take shops like Alf's for granted but then suddenly it isn't there.  Get a campaign  going, the locals will be well up for it.

Well, I was wrong about Theo, he did step up for Lyrik.

Haven't actually seen Alf at the bait shop for ages.  Used to get the occasional scene with him there, but it's been a long while now.

They haven't been able to use the filming location - the building that houses both the bait shop and diner had to be knocked down in 2022 in advance of a complete rebuild. That was also the reason for the coffee cart being introduced at that time.

Whilst it's been up and running again in real-life for a year now, it doesn't seem as though the show were able to negotiate a deal with the new owners to continue using it as a location. Hence the bait shop now closing (we won't make any assumptions about the show referencing greedy landlords in the process 🤭), and why we're still stuck with scenes at the coffee cart.

That was a pretty swift exit from Xander, and a pretty involved one as well with the show making a point of giving him moments with Dana, Rose and Mackenzie. A reference to Jasmine would have been nice when Xander and Rose were talking about how Summer Bay has been the making of them, but you can't expect miracles, I guess. It was nice to see Dana's softer side come out again with her support of Xander and her chat with Mackenzie about Abigail, and then her and Rose keeping each other company.

Well, it seems we're having a trial for Lyrik's second/third/fourth/whatever coming anyway, with Theo agreeing to sign up for a month. I guess a lot will depend on the workload and what they can do in that time.

I wasn't expecting Alf and Roo to give up so easily at a few grumpy online comments.John seemed to be running around with his halo on, giving a despondent Alf an unexpected pep-talk.
