H&Alover, you're right; Bree's mega reaction was always going to happen, it just happened to be Flick's death that was the straw methinks rather than the main reason as such as she's barely had any recovery from her multiple traumas so something's always going to give.

So, today's episode proved that the age-old Summer Bay cliche of "look me in the eye and say X" can be delivered with a slur and in a drunken stupor without losing one iota of its potency. So good work, Eden, for that. Considerably less good to hear a reprise of the Selective Amnesia Song.

I think I may have just passed the engagement event horizon with the Justin and Claudia storyline. I spent much of those scenes wondering whether Claudia is the person to wear a sling for the longest period in H&A's entire history? Except perhaps if an actor had a real-life injury...

I'm not sure anything more can be done with Cash at this point. People have tried to talk to him time and again, yet he remains fixated on the idea that breaking up with Eden will stop her dying, and until something shakes that out of him, he just won't listen to reason. Maybe Abigail's serve will have an effect, since kid gloves isn't working, but given that he seems to want to be sad and lonely, maybe not. Anyway, we got some nice scenes with John and Eden, with him again showing his surrogate parental side to his neighbours. (I loved him pushing Eden onto the couch with one finger!)

I did actually enjoy those scenes with Levi, Abigail and eventually Eden. I'm not sure why Levi was so against Abigail running round outside, which would be more likely to burn off energy than sitting in front of a screen (the subtitles had him saying "You can choose the game" but I'm not sure if that was right or not). Is that Abigail's first Obligatory Bikini Scene?

Justin basically says he's lying to Leah because she's a bit high maintenance. It'd be nice if Theo actually pointed out to Leah that Claudia had every reason to be angry with him. It does feel like Claudia turning up to unload to Justin about her marital problems is moving their friendship(?) into new territory. After weeks of trying to remember what it was, I recalled that Leah and Justin's fiftieth cult run-in was last year's UK cliffhanger, so it makes sense it would be the anniversary about now!

Justin does seem to be a magnet for troubled people, do they sense he'd be a good guy who'd help them, last time it was Andrew but look how that turned out. From what Claudia has said, hubby Eric does seem the clingy sort and it appeared she could be reading more into their friendship - is it even that though - and leaning on him as a strong, sensitive bloke. Theo does know what Claudia does for a living then and can sympathise that catching buses wouldn't be a good idea. He is so not happy about not telling Leah, yes she'll blow up but once explained she'll get over it.  Theo has got over Claudia having a go at him and he is an adult.    Better, surely, that Claud is still wearing a sling then losing it after just a few days as it's been miraculously healed as usually happens in all soaps.

Loved how John was with Eden, he may be a bit of a doofas sometimes but he can be very caring, that was funny when he just pushed her with one finger.  It must be hard for her seeing how Cash lives just over the road so can't avoid seeing him.   Eden having consumed some Dutch courage decided to face the bear in his den.  He very nearly waivered but stopped himself.  I can see, kind of, why he is pushing Eden away but will  this mean he won't be in be a close  relationship with any woman ever again, just have meaningless flings or live like a monk He  is pushing himself with all this running, is that another way for him to stop thinking about Flick?  Good for Abigail confronting him, it is her sister he's hurting.

Funny how John mentioned  Neighbour Watch as it seems there are never any neighbours about because as we saw when Carl turned up not a  soul in sight. Is it a ghost cul-de-sac?

I can see why Levi was reluctant to let Abigail go out on her own, she is still going through withdrawal so very vulnerable.   Is he not working at the moment?   They did get out at last and she enjoyed her swim so we saw a better side of her.  Mac it seemed was having talks with her solicitor about this silent partnership deal with Cash.   I could understand why Eden was upset when Abigail was playing 'her' song she wrote for Cash.  It wasn't selective amnesia she had lost her memory.

Eden had lost her memory...but very selectively!

Kind of disappointed that everyone was treating Cash with kid gloves after Abigail gave him that well-deserved serve.I wasn't even convinced by his advice, which seemed like he was thinking as a cop rather than as a brother, but Abigail seemed to appreciate it in the end so that's good, I guess. And she continued her trajectory by being friendly to Mackenzie despite her reversion to stroppiness, and Mackenzie seems to be making an effort with her too. Cash was definitely out of order trying to get Rose to break the rules (law?) for him and I'm glad she refused, although he seems to have found an alternative method.

Justin was both harsh and not harsh enough with Claudia. He's obviously not comfortable with her leaning on him for support but she doesn't seem to have accepted his implication that they're not friends. We're at the point where he really should talk to Leah:She hasn't made it easy at times but the alternative of her finding out another way is far worse.

Mali meets the art gallery guy and gets an offer that he...maybe can't refuse? I guess we'll have to see which way he swings but he didn't seem to be immediately against the idea.

"So I'd be a full-time artist?"

Not how it works, Mali/writers! Or at least, not for 99.9% of artists, particularly new ones. Finding this very implausible to say the least after his minimal artistic exertions so far, which seem to have consisted as much of shouting at Kirby as they have of actually painting.

Cash and the organ recipients is going more or less in the direction I expected it to. Justin and Claudia seem to be on a repeat cycle.

Levi didn't really need to apologise for Abigail's attitude to Cash, she is an adult  not a child so fully entitled to her opinion.  Maybe not have been a wise decision for Levi to tell Cash what had nearly happened to Abigail but got good advice to report Dom.  Naturally it didn't go down well with her as she wants to forget all about it and he backed off, but Mac said he had to stop protecting her so much  hence the further talk on the beach where he convinced her to report Dom to the cops aka Rose.  It wasn't said, though I think it should have been but she had family to call on whereas other young girls like her wouldn't be so lucky.  Abi did have the grace to apologise to Cash and thank him.   Then another shock she thanked Mac.  I've said before I think they will get on very well.

We have seen in many cop shows, soaps, that cops can and do bend protocol rules when it suits them.  This was different though as it's so  personal.  That is what the internet - a curse or  a blessing depending on your outlook -  is for finding things out.  People do contact the donors family or even life donors to be able to say thank you face to face and become friends.  But has already been said it's far too soon for Cash to be making that choice.  How could he find her anyway?

Justin did seem to pick up pretty quick that Claudia  was reading too much into their arrangement. Did she call a cab when she wandered off?  I did wonder if she left her coat behind deliberately so as to have an excuse to come back for it and Leah just happened to be there when she sprang her surprise visit on him, but that didn't happen.  I'm guessing by Leah cheekily trying it on, it wasn't something she'd seen Claudia wearing before, Leah would be pretty sharp on that score.   Could Justin have just posted it to Claudia to avoid seeing her again?  Once again Claud arrived in a cab, sent it away so she'd have to hang around for another one.

We found out, after the initial interruption, what Mac has been told what options there re  Salt and Cash becoming a silent partner.  Would that really involve either buying him out or selling up? Does being a silent partner mean he can't say anything about the business? We don't see it often but we saw someone  doing laundry, ironing in this case and double shock it was a bloke - Mali - mum brought him up well trained.   I've seen that shirt before, good to know he's not a wear it once and chuck it guy.

Not sure if gallery guy is dodgy but it is a big ask of him expecting Mali to drop everything and do 15 paintings when there is no guarantee they'd sell for lots of dosh.  Mail has only done one painting. I know he does art work on his boards but are they all his idea or what the users ask for?   He didn't say no right away but I think I see him  turning him down.  He'd lose  a lot, customers, good will, who would make the boards and would Kirby take over everything?

it might be a bit wicked of me but cash getting that second letter from the recipient of Flick's heart and lungs said she hoped she'd be like her.  Does she realise she'd have to become a bit of  a wild child, go off one, drink herself silly now and then?

Though I dislike Abi I did cheer when she gave Cash a serve!

Off tpoic, loved Eden's leopard head dress/nightshirt; her getting drunk wasn't the best idea but when she said to Cash about how badly she was hurting too was rather sad. Cash's rubbish about protecting her, for me, the irony is his dismissing her, I could see her being to type of person to drive a car off somewhere as in off of but no-one would know that she was headed that way and in that it would've been Cash that had an indirect role so his misguided plan would've failed anyway.

His petulant sniping at Tane proves he's not thinking straight, whether he would want to admit it or not her deception was partially responsible for the breakdown of that marriage and also it had been resolved-ish i.e. they were moving on in their directions, also the fact that he's hiding the full truth from Gary means he knows he's doing wrong. The way he's already obsessing is slightly creepy, it's an organ, Michelle isn't and never would be Flick, no matter how much he wants it to be.

I can understand Tane kind of drawing a line with it, sometimes that can be for your own sanity.

Alf's episode count this week:Three. Cash was in four, although he only appeared in one scene without dialogue on Tuesday. The only other characters to make three were Justin and Tane, and Kirby didn't appear at all.

One of those annoying moments when a character says something spot on and then apologises for it: Cash was absolutely right that Tane has already moved on from Felicity to his new family, and Tane's response was pathetic. He wanted a baby with Felicity more than he wanted Felicity, and he probably wants a baby with Harper more than he wanted Felicity, and I continue to think that in many ways it's mightily convenient for him that he doesn't have to deal with Felicity still being around while he plays out his fantasy with another woman. At least their "romantic" picnic turned out to not really be romantic at all, at least on Tane's part, although Dana's obviously worried that Harper's crush is getting worse.

I'm pretty sure I know a guy who's a full-time artist, I hire out his services once in a while. Anyway, Mali's decided it's not him, and he's probably right.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie is also making decisions and rather high-handedly as well. Not too long ago, Xander was keen to buy Cash's share, so it's a bit rude of her to, in effect, cut him out and make plans to own Salt herself. (Because that worked so well for her last time...) Cash, of course, has found a new "legacy" of Felicity's to obsess over. It's hard to tell how concerned we should be: As he pointed out, he's not trying to track down every person who received one of Felicity's organs, just meet someone who contacted him first. That said, if he's expecting her to somehow be Felicity reincarnated, he's possibly setting himself up for a big disappointment.

I don’t think they should get Tane and Harper together Have them work as a non romantic partnership for the baby not everyone needs to get together or married all the time Life isn’t like that Felicity shouldn’t have gotten married I didn’t really find that believable

But I would say Tane and Harper are equally boring
