One of those annoying moments when a character says something spot on and then apologises for it: Cash was absolutely right that Tane has already moved on from Felicity to his new family,

The baby would be born regardless and it is still partially Tane's responsibility; if he pulled the same Miss Haversham act as his ex brother in law is right now, SuperCash would be condemning him for abandoning Harper and the baby, he can't win either way. Also, why should the child ultimately suffer because the adults are more immature than them, really?

It's got nothing to do with the child. There is no child yet and Tane's already fussing over Harper as if this is the only thing that's important to him and he doesn't give a damn about Felicity now he's got someone who'll give him what he wants. He doesn't even seem to give much of a damn about Perri anymore, as his complete lack of interest in supporting him in court or checking on him afterwards demonstrated.

It doesn't matter whether the child's not born yet, if it's wanted, and in truth, if you go back a few decades from the moment a woman said to man I'm pregnant he was forced either to marry her or be judged for that, also in certain cultures it starts there and then, it's what you were expected to do.

Equally, just because he isn't weeping and wailing and treating everyone like dirt ala Cash, it doesn't mean he's forgotten; not everyone feels or wants to display their grief and be a spectacle, it can be a very private pain.

Cash has found, we're guessing, the woman who received Flick heart and lungs going by the time frame, they can only be held onto for a certain period of time and there would only be a certain number of people who would be there as it were.  The only thing we know for sure is it is a woman.  Tane wouldn't be as invested as he is, though it would still be spooky, if that is the right word, to meet the person who received your late ex wives heart and lungs.  He has moved on but rightly, imo, Cash  let him know about what he was doing, It's now Tane's choice whether to meet Michelle.  I suppose there is one way they can find out if it is her, we've seen her handwriting so she could write something in front of Cash.

OK Tane and Flick split because she didn't want children although at first he told her he wasn't bothered if they did or not, but either he was lying, which I don't think he was, but was convincing himself he wasn't.  Then it started to niggle and had to tell her the truth.  But then she lied to him by saying she'd be OK with having children so both to blame for lying to each other.  No way could Tane or anyone know he'd be 'expecting' a baby so soon.  I think, again just my humble opinion,  Flick after throwing a wobbly, would be fine about it, she would have loved seeing Tane happy.

Why shouldn't have Tane and Felicity have married, they loved each other.

Harper and Tane can, we hope, work as a platonic couple.  Though Harper was mortified about the hamper, due to Maz's misunderstanding of Dana's request, Tane did find it funny, it was only sandwiches cut into heart shapes. 😅  The Baby Name Book was a nice touch.  Vernon and Drusilla rally?  No insults to anyone called Vernon and Drusilla.  May be getting way ahead of myself but I see a traditional Maori name being in the mix somewhere.

I'm glad Milo checked Robert, gallery guy out and found out he was for real, but as I thought he did turn him down.  Kirby won't be a happy bunny though.  Though her experience at going off on her own didn't work out for her. and it was something she loved, playing music, but found she missed working with the rest of the band and bouncing ideas off them.  Besides what were they going to do lock Mali in a studio somewhere until he did his 15 paintings?

Has Mac forgotten Xander's offer to buy into Salt?   She had run it petty successfully then run into some bad luck, not all of  it her fault and then Felicity stepped up. To be fair it was Flick that introduced the illegal gambling nights.

Maybe just me but I think Bree and Claudia do look alike.

I take your point, but we really need to see some indication of it on screen, rather than being left to assume. As it is, it seems like the moment Harper told him she was pregnant he went from being devastated to acting like Felicity never existed.

Dana is good at doing all the practical stuff as a nurse but not sympathetic or caring to her patients at all.

Abigail was seriously giving Dana a run for her money in terms of being unlikeable, although at least she apologised to Cash, but it remains to be seen whether her attitude will improve.  I did actually really like the way Levi was with Cash.  He was compassionate, understanding, still not blaming him for how he's treated Eden and the dialogue and the handshake was really good when Cash advised him to get Abigail to talk to the police.

I feel sorry for Claudia.  The fact that she just wanted to hang out with Justin just shows how bad things must be with her husband.  I've got nothing against Justin.  I think he's trying to make the best of a bad situation and do think he did the right thing imposing boundaries on the arrangement they have but I can't help but feel sympathetic towards Claudia.

A few weeks ago I would have been cheering Mali on to dedicate himself to his artwork if it meant him leaving the show but he's not been too bad as of late.  Doesn't matter now that he's turned down the opportunity.

I was literally gobsmacked when Cash asked Rose to get him the name and contact details of Felicity's donor recipient he had been writing to (I know he has from but I was still shocked).  If he really valued her as a friend he never should have put her in that position.  I don't think what he said to Tane was wrong though as already mentioned Tane is moving on.  He even said to Cash he'd already said goodbye to Felicity when Cash asked if he was curious about the donor recipient.  I think he was in love with Felicity at one point but I'm not convinced he was in love with her just before she had the aneurysm.

Despite Marilyn preparing a romantic picnic hamper and Dana not arriving it time to alert them, it looks as though the picnic itself turned out in Harper's favour.  I have to admit, I did find Dana's face amusing at a smitten Harper looking on at Tane as he was headed back to the Surf Club.  But true to form she had to blame Xander, for taking the time during his break to help out and not checking the hamper beforehand despite the fact she didn't do it herself.

My father's boss was called Vernon. he wasn't a nice man though! 😆 Also we have Drusilla's Park but they are the only ones I know!

Spooky's a fair term I think, in a sense, I know in some cultures organ donation is seen as a bit like stealing, but also, I think sometimes it can be just too hard for loved ones because, not that you would ever begrudge that receipient their life at all, it can perhaps compound the feelings of loss.

I think Flick/Tane shouldn't have married really, because though love is a part of it, the fundmental things that can make the 'boring' part of marriage are often the things that cement you but if you differ too much it can damage you both, and as we saw, it ends up being really messy and painful.

Maori names would be lovely, if it's a boy I wonder if either of the much missed would-be Uncles would be in there, Ari and/or Mikaere; I know often if someone loses a particularly special loved one, maybe he will mention it, who knows?

P.S. Re previous post on grief: just to reassure all, I used 'making a spectacle' as merely a descriptive term not an opinion.

Cash was doing a pretty good impression of a freight train here, ploughing ahead with his plan to meet Michelle without giving himself a chance to think. To be fair, I think the reasons he gave Remi sounded pretty reasonable: Not expecting her to somehow be Felicity but wanting to see that something good came out of Flick's death. Of course, then he goes into a panic attack, only to reverse course and decide he can't pull out of his commitment.

Mackenzie really has forgotten about Xander, hasn't she? And has apparently decided to instead get Levi to bankroll her buy-out. I see Abigail seems to have let go of some of her animosity towards Kirby, given she seemed to have no problem socialising with her here, unless she was putting on her best behaviour for Mali's sake.Anyway, good on her for giving Levi a kick up the backside to get back to work and agreeing to counselling. It was amusing that Kirby has been so out of the loop obsessing over Mali that she completely missed Abigail's drugs problem!

So both Kirby and Mali give up on dream careers oh dear

Abby seems to be doing fine for someone who was addicted to hard drugs I think

Looks like Alf is heading for a heart attack maybe Give him a memory problem I think that would be more interesting

There's only two Vernon's I think of

1. Vernon  Fenwick from 80s TMNT (April's snidey, pompous cowardly coworker at Ch6)

2. Vernon Tomlin in Corrie aka Mr Liz McDonald 2.
