It's frustrating that Claudia's crossed the line and given Leah an excuse for being a witch to her. There really wasn't any reason for Leah to go running around trying to give Claudia a piece of her mind and I wish she could have had it pointed out to her that all Justin was doing was helping out a woman who has been inconvenienced by mistakes he and Theo made, and who she's taking an irrational dislike to. But no, now she actually has a reason to dislike her and will probably grab it with both hands. We know that Eric's wrong about Justin and Claudia having an affair, so I guess the question is: Is he right about her having done this in the past or is he just paranoid and possessive?

Well, Bree's really doing it now.Someone should have stepped in but I guess they haven't been looking closely enough and Bree's been able to do a decent enough job when not required to make snap decisions that her attempts to control situations probably didn't stand out as much as they could have done. But there's no way she's going to be able to pass this off as normal behaviour, and hopefully that nurse is on her way to alert someone to the fact Bree's lost it. (Which Dana should have done when she bailed on a patient before.)

Harper and Tane seemed to do a bit of a 180 about the gender reveal party: Tane started off not being keen and Harper seemed only slightly more keen, then Tane suddenly goes "I'm up for it if you are" and Harper's all "Great, let's do it". Carl was almost conciliatory towards Perri up until the moment when he wanted him to do "one last job" and Perri refused. Perri misses another chance to get witnesses which it's clear Carl doesn't want given the way he put on an act when someone walked past. Would Carl actually leave if Perri did the job, or would there always be "one last job"? It's not worth the risk, anyway.

I’m faithful in relationships but I think I would cheat if I was married to Leah I don’t know what Justin really likes about her to be honest

I didn’t mention this other day but I understand Cash wanting to meet Michelle and possibly Eden But then taking her to meet Gary and Felicity’s grave no Michelle that’s slightly odd And Michelle wouldn’t find that fun at all I doubt

Alf I don’t even know what number heart attack this is but I’m sure he will be fine once again

I can’t bring myself to care about Perri

I must admit, I'd forgotten about what happened with John but what I will say is that it is similar to Harper.  And I guess that reenforces the point about throwing people under the bus, because the vast majority of people she's interacted with inside/outside work, she's not like that with.  And it's not only the fact I see her as uncaring.  She veers between being robotic in some instances but when she demands something she has that intense look.  The robotic nature, absence of emotion and intense look correlate with the lack of empathy I keep bringing up.  This was apparent when she used Banjo i.e. pretending to be romantically interested in him to help John, the way she pressured Rose re charging Harper etc.  Even some of the worst people will still care about  a very small number of people they deem close to them, but they're generally uncaring in nature due to their attitude to most people in general.  Not saying Dana is the worst, but I don't think caring towards Harper and John is indicative she's a caring person as they really are the exception rather than the norm.

I know there's an argument this has happened because Justin wasn't honest with Leah but it still doesn't change the fact Marilyn was a huge pain in the backside.  Even if you assume they were both planning surprises, she had no business getting involved.  I guess given Claudia was sitting in the front when Justin was driving her, that might have been the early indication something was up.  I'm also frustrated they've taken her down this route because Leah has been more annoying than Marilyn was and quite judgmental from the start.  Her reaction to Theo's revelation demonstrates precisely why Justin didn't tell her about Claudia to begin with.

Well Bree's definitely not fit to be at work at the moment.  I did find her scenes with Alf quite hard to watch and she came across like a first day med student.

Leah did put Theo in an impossible situation making him reveal what Justin had been doing, it has been completely innocent on his part.  OK Claudia has only just had the cast off so but as Justin said she's not wrestling crocs. She so deliberately lured him to that house, trying to keep him as long as possible, then she went in for that kiss. I'm guessing Leah may have had  a go at Claudia for using Justin. Then she rang Eric.  I did predict Eric would tell Leah that Claudia is having an affair with Justin with no evidence, Claudia had told Justin he was possessive and jealous which is why she asked Justin to meet her away from the house. Echo's of Jacob and Bree, he got jealous when she talked to men.  Men and women  like that do come across as very plausible.  I do have the feeling he is the paranoid type, though  the job she does would be mostly meeting male vets so was he 'suggesting' she had affairs with them? I'm glad Theo was there to put Justin's side of the story and why he was doing what he was doing.   Why was Leah so ready to believe Eric, she must know Justin better than that? Yes he lied about what he was doing but having an affair, he's no cheater.

Alf collapsing was a shock to Harper, Tane and Perri  and they did the right thing, although he can't have been that bad as apparently he was complaining all the way to the hospital.  He was whinging about having to hang about and  go for his tests.  I guess Maz was called as obviously no Roo or Martha, he told her to stop fretting, not to call Roo or want any food so far so Alf.   Then 'finger snap'  he had the nose bleed, which he didn't even notice, then he was really having pains and the machine was bleeping and flashing like crazy.

I guess Bree didn't have to be there when Alf was admitted, she could have been seeing another patient or counting pencils and lying to Remi.  Luckily Levi was there and he is a cardiac  surgeon so would know what he is doing. He soon got hustled away when Bree turned up, I think Dana would have said something but as been pointed out by Bree she is only a nurse so doesn't want to be seen overstepping her position.  So far what Bree has been doing or not hasn't put anyone's life in danger, but now she's crossed the line, even a few seconds or minute can make a huge difference to someone's life, now she's having brain freeze.   That other nurse was urging her or do something. Time for Dana to grab Levi  if he hasn't left.

Dana did mention to Levi that Alf had previous heart attacks when reading from his notes. He's had two before now, he also had a stroke  with the first one.

A bit of light relief with the Gender Reveal Party  debate - when did that become a thing?  Has that replaced Baby Showers?   Does it matter what sex - sorry gender -  the baby is, they can do whatever they like in the world nowadays.

Then another downer Carl turning up and threatening Perri, he is very canny by not appearing when anyone who knows who he is is about and that he shouldn't be anywhere near Perri.   Of course there'd always be another 'one last job'.   It does look like it's going to pretty dramatic at the Newman house.  Who's in the pool?   Going to be  a couple of cliff hangers for us.

Haven't seen today's yet..

The distorted thumping was done to brilliant effect as per; no-one can ignore Bree's instability now, she is quite literally watching Alf come close to death until she picks her perfect moment being driven by what seems to be OCD, it gave a kind of creepy air I thought, which added to the drama. I know she is an ED doctor fully qualified etc. but in some ways, I'm surprised Levi didn't put his foot down a bit, given he is a specialist in cardiothorasics and, even without test results, an educated guess would signify cardiac/lung are the problem areas.

Claudia always gave me kind of 'sinister princess' vibes i.e. 'I get  what I want no matter what, if you don't obey there's trouble.' Husband is off the mark with Justin but with his wife...who knows. Maybe she's extremely driven and sees her husband lacking in certain areas?

Alf’s episode count this week: Four, and he was credited on Tuesday for no appearance.

Well…that was a really weird point to end on. In many ways, the previous episode would have been a better cliffhanger. We’ve talked in the past about how they tend to end on the longest-serving characters in peril and we seemed to be heading in that direction with Alf but…nope, he’s fine. Leah and Justin… more on that later, but nope, they’re fine too. So ultimately the characters in most trouble are Bree and Perri, and even that’s only an indirect threat.

So, fortunately Levi is there to help Alf out. The fact it was so easy, and all the nurses knew what to do, really underlines how much Bree shouldn’t be there. Marilyn demonstrates her credentials for being the most irritating person on the show by having a go at Levi just because he’s there, although at least she had the decency to give Bree both barrels afterwards. So now Levi does what Dana should have done instead of going “Okay, that’s my episodes done” and going off to plan a tacky party, and finally reports Bree.

Are we going to see Eric again or is he just a plot device to put Leah in a mood? Because he does kind of feel like the real villain of the piece here, despite Leah swallowing all his clearly biased stuff about Claudia being a scarlet woman. But anyway, as far as cliffhangers go…Claudia might not be entirely stable but she’s no threat to Justin. And we know Justin isn’t going to cheat on Leah with her. And we know Leah and Justin won’t split up. So basically the cliffhanger is “Will Justin have to suffer Leah being a screeching harridan towards him?” Never mind not being able to hotwire a car, how the heck can he spend hours searching for those keys in a small flower bed and not find them? Did they get stolen by a squirrel? Does Australia have squirrels?

So how long did Tane spend fawning over Harper before going to check on Perri? Yet again, a soap opera comes up with the least satisfying ending possible, demonstrating that the forces of law and order are unable to protect the vulnerable, and just killing a villain instead of having him be forced to face up to what he’s done: We don’t even get to see it happen, just for the sake of a two second fakeout where we think it might be Perri that’s dead. And now we’ll be back in the usual thing of the good guy getting a harder time from the police than the bad guy.

Ok maybe Claudia is abit nutty but I think I still would haha especially over moody Leah Hot wiring the car I have been told you can only do that in the movies or tv so I will let Justin off there

Shame they weren’t brave enough to go for the fake out and have Perri the one in the pool It’s just that I find this story very predictable and boring

Well that’s it then that’s the end Shame we didn’t see Abby again in her pink fluffy top before Christmas
