It seems odd that in a house where (to put it charitably) there has been an unexplained death with a missing suspect, that Cash and Michelle can just wander in and there is no sign of any police presence or ongoing investigation.

Incidentally, since when does the Parata/Newman house have a drive like that? It almost looked like a different location!

Always been there at the existing location, but seldom (if ever) used before now. Given it's at the bottom of the garden at right angles to the house, you'd be forgiven for thinking it belonged to the house next door at first glance.

I think I have forgotten how annoying I find some characters over the break

Do we really think Michelle enjoyed visiting Gary a total stranger to her maybe she did because she came back fancying Cash it seems also I was sure she was blonde she’s dyed her hair maybe?

It’s good to see Leah has trust in Justin again I do wonder how his head doesn’t come close to exploding married to her what on earth does he see in her?

So Perri is hiding in the garage hmm in reality Rose should find him there really

Bree I do find you nearly as annoying as Leah your good in doctor mode normally

Alf was playing his role of devil's advocate very well, by trying to get Leah to see Justin's side of it and arranging the meeting between them.  Even then she wouldn't listen.  Justin took the bit between his teeth by driving back and persuading  Claudia to come back with him to explain what really had been going on.  Thankfully Leah did listen to her, but still no real explanation as to why she believed  a complete stranger even if she didn't like Claudia.  I remember now she was trying to get hold of Claudia and then tried their home number.  I don't  think she arranged to meet him he just turned up.  If I was Justin I'd be more upset that she didn't trust him.  When has he ever given her any reason he'd cheat?  OK he was economical with the truth but a cheat?  Besides that he could have been lying hurt somewhere or even dead.   Justin had been ferrying Claudia around because of the accident caused by Theo's 'neglect' and he didn't want her suing him.

Definitely Cash being more invested in Michelle than the other way round or should we say obsessed.   She's too nice for her own good by letting him talk her out of going  home.  Eden is one step back so can see it more clearly, but of course Cash took it as her interfering.

John, naturally had to be the one to break the news about Carl's death and the fact Perri was awol.  The fact the police have put a WANTED poster up will not encourage him to come forward.

That is one big problem when you are the local cop and the people you may need to interview are friends/neighbours as they expect you to believe them but it doesn't work that way.   She has to, as a cop, follow procedures.  We do know people do lie or tell half truths.   Tane hadn't been arrested so was perfectly within his rights to leave.  The police/CSI guys and gals would have done what they needed to do.

We did see in the trailer - so no spoiler - Alf finds out what really nearly happened to him  which is what I said.  He was out of it so thought it was Bree who helped him.

I did enjoy the gossip session at the beginning with John, Harper and Eden (I still can't believe Eden and Harper did so well in the popularity contest - I can't stand Dana but at least with her I can understand why people like so much, but those two).

I found quite a few of the characters frustrating from yesterday.  I accept he was looking out for Perri but I found Tane annoying.

Leah was also annoying.  I can kind of understand the uncertainty, thinking the worst given what Claudia's husband said and finding out about the lifts Justin was giving Claudia behind her back, but she really should have given Justin a chance to explain before deciding to move out.  So given they haven't been married for very long, I do think his reaction was very understandable.

In spite of everything I do still feel bad for Claudia.  I was very much of the opinion that she had very little to gain by not going down the legal route initially.  And even more so now but again she had nothing to get out of telling Leah the truth, however she did it because she's not a bad person and had a brief period of weakness.  Just like she's not a bad person for not going through the courts which caused her to end up in this situation.

Cash was a bit annoying pressurising Michelle but I do have a certain level of sympathy for him, given he's still struggling with losing Felicity.

Eden I thought was pretty bad.  I did actually agree with her about Michelle and Michelle does feels grateful to Cash so feels a sense of duty to spend time with him, but I do think she also did it purposely to punish him for breaking up with her.  I also think because she was unhappy that Cash excluded her from spending time with Michelle initially and because she doesn't want Cash to have much time with Michelle which is a part of the punishment.

Enjoyed me some no-nonsense Mac today, chucking snotty Bree out of Salt. I can forgive Bree for having issues, but she seems to have had a wholesale personality transplant along with it, which is more difficult to get on board with.

Justin's possibly milking it a bit now with Leah. Time to kiss and make up and move on, I think.

Bree is a awful character in my opinion but in saying that I could see her turning into a psychopath doctor I would enjoy that

I think Eden was absolutely right to handle things the way she did. I don't believe she meant to hurt Cash but she could see Cash was hurting Michelle and it couldn't go on. And once he'd stopped lashing out, Cash understood that, even if he was still a bit cold towards her.

Bree continues to be a couple of steps away from a padded cell with her warped sense of reality. Even Remi doesn't seem willing to take things on trust, especially now he knows she's lied to him. I'm still not sure how Alf missed Bree abandoning him but Marilyn's filled him in now.Bree being shut down by first Marilyn and then Mackenzie was very satisfying.

I don't think Alf's really helping things by providing Leah with a convenient bolthole to avoid her problems in.I'm glad Justin was blunt with Leah about why he didn't feel able to be honest with her about Claudia.I do want Leah and Justin to make up in the long term, but for the moment, I can't say I'm disappointed at Leah getting a taste of her own medicine.
