Yeah, I kind of accepted the first scene of Justin saying they're not going to solve it in one night, but then when he threw a tantrum about Leah talking to Marilyn it was just "Do you know what show you're in?!" Anyway, they've used up their three episodes for the week, so hopefully they'll spend a couple of days off screen sorting things out.

So, after sorting things out with Kirby, Abigail has apparently decided to blame everything on Eden instead. There was at least a bit of energy to their scenes, even if Eden was struggling to read the room at times.

Cash and Harper's scenes kind of frustrated me a bit, because they reminded me that if we'd seen more of this side of Harper, and less of her constantly mooning over and enabling Tane, then I wouldn't have gone off her as much as I have this year.

As much as I've disliked Bree recently, I was kind of uncomfortable with Marilyn telling Levi to give her what for, even though I can see where she's coming from.

I feel like the location of Abigail’s counselling session has been used before, but I can’t place where. @Dan F, any ideas please?

Can't really say I'm that fussed about Perri's storyline although, I'd completely forgotten about what happened with Theo and Dimitri so it didn't occur to me why Theo was prepared to take such a risk for Perri.  I still remember the way Cash looked at Dimitri with absolute disgust and contempt and genuinely couldn't understand it given his line of work.

Some Cash/Rose scenes (yay) and good to see Cash being slightly more upbeat.  I actually didn't mind the stuff with Cash and Harper either and found the scene when Harper was telling Cash about struggling being in love with Tane slightly amusing.

Marilyn annoyed me again when she was trying to pressurise Levi.  She obviously wants Bree to get fired (And yes, I get it).  Shame she couldn't have as much passion for her own flesh and blood.

It  did seem Leah and Justin were on a roundabout,  going on about the same problem again and again.  Him throwing a hissy fit finding out Leah had  been talking to Marilyn about their problem and  storming off. It was only when he overheard part of Cash and Harper's conversation  about knowing who your true love is the penny finally dropped, Leah is his true love so well able to get over  this hiccup.  Theo has very wisely gone to see his mum to keep out of their way and let them sort it out themselves.

I guess we tended to forget Cash and Harper were friends back in the city so good to see them reconnect and talk about their problems, he has been quite distant since losing Felicity and she's been caught up with the pregnancy, Tane and Perri.

That was real bad timing that Levi was called to attend  the tribunal on the same day/time he was supposed to be taking Abi to her first  one-to-one counselling session. Not surprisingly she didn't take it well and having Eden as a substitute didn't help matters.  I may be misremembering but wasn't she OK with meeting up again with Eden when she came to Eden and Cash's Engagement party?🤔

I can see where Maz is coming from, anyone would feel the same, but Levi can only tell the tribunal what he saw, what he heard at the time. What he had been told by a third party would be hearsay.  I'm guessing other medics/nurses who were there would be asked what they saw/heard.   As we saw Bree was really on the defensive accusing Levi of muscling in on her patient when she had it all under control - which she didn't.

Brief mention of Alf, him calling Maz to check in at the Surf Club.

Indeed, it's part of the former Callan Park Hospital estate. Though unless we're talking about a different time, it wasn't the place used for Justin's sessions in 2023 as they were up at Scheyville.

I'm not recalling the Kirkbride building being seen on the show before offhand, though just as a matter of interest the care home that Irene was admitted to in 2005 was also on the same complex.

Bree continues to live in Denial Land, but surely there's a roomful of people who can testify that she kept sending nurses away at crucial moments and that she left while Alf was in distress and never came back? It's hard to see how she can make Levi being the bad guy here stick. I was glad that Kirby recalled that Bree was like this after Remi's accident because it's what I said when this behaviour first started! Anyway, at least Remi seems to have moved beyond giving her the benefit of the very small doubt.

I loved Eden being as annoying as possible to get Abigail to see the counsellor, although it seems there's a lot still unsaid between them. At least Abigail did seem to open up with Tim after initially trying to fob him off with stock answers.

Kirby's back to being a bit gung-ho with Mali but at least she seems to be getting his permission to do everything now.John made the most of his limited screen time, from wearily realising Marilyn's got a list of instructions from Alf to insisting on giving his input to the youngsters' plans.

According to what Dana said to Marilyn, the hospital tribunals are strict.  I guess that explains why she didn't have one.

So Bree decides to get payback/fight fire with fire by throwing Levi under the bus.  From her perspective I can see why she's adopted this approach.  Even putting aside the revenge element, it's survival.  The problem is, she's gone about this completely the wrong way and her methodology has been very emotional.  What she should have done was talked about how she's been struggling since Jacob's death and how Felicity's passing affected her as a doctor (I have to admit, I'd forgotten about Remi's bike accident which would also help).  This would have been very plausible.  Although her inability to recognise she actually has a problem has halted that.  I did find it funny when she said "No hard feelings" and offered the handshake to Levi when she saw him at the hospital just after the hearing.

I'm very much of the opinion that Levi is in the right, Bree should not be allowed to practice medicine again until she 1)accepts she has a problem and 2)receives help.  I also hope Levi doesn't get sanctioned because of this.  However, I don't think I can stomach Marilyn winning.

It was nice of Kirby to give some perspective of Bree although it seems as though she doesn't know the full story.

I would say more scenes with Abigail and the counsellor as she's nowhere near as much of a brat.  I do like the fact that Eden knows how to annoy her so that's a plus for me anyway.

Bree doesn't know she's in denial, I guess people who are where she is don't.   That is of course why she didn't admit to the panel she'd been having problems because she doesn't, it's other people.  I'm guessing the panel are people from outside the hospital so won't have any preferences to which ever doctor is under review.  OK doctors do disagree how to treat patients, its a given that happens but you don't argue in front of them or their relatives.  I do remember Levi and Bree clashed over Remi's treatment when he was brought in and he  told her to go as she shouldn't have been there anyway seeing as Remi is her other half.  But they can work well together as we saw when they were doing their checks on Felicity. I remember how Bree was cleaning everything in Remi's room and not allowing Kirby, Eden or Theo to see him.  Plus of course her dad was dying during all that. Now she's turned it on Levi. We know Levi didn't just 'swoop in' and take over, Marilyn asked him to come and attend to Alf as Bree had  wondered off to check his bloods, but wouldn't they have been checked before?

Remi is seeing it from a layman's point of view which I dare say Bree will have   go at him about as 'he' wouldn't understand.

Bloody hell how long did that session with Abi and Tim last?  It was broad daylight when they went in and it was dark when they finally emerged.  That must have cost Levi a pretty penny.  He is good at his job though he got Abi to finally admit it was more than just thinking "Oh OK I'll try some" when offered the drugs. He'd have been there, done that, heard this plenty of times.   Interesting to hear Eden's comment when Tim asked about the Lyrik logo on the van, she said it's history.

Kirby is back in enthusiastic mode, but she is listening to Mali and liked John's chipping in.   😁 about him saying having to spend money  to get the right  people to do the job.
