Bree is denial about being in denial if that makes any sense.  Bree still saying she knew what she was doing by leaving Alf to um 'check on his bloods' and he would have been fine.  OK Maz isn't medically trained but  even I would have clocked Alf was dangerously ill even without all those machines bleeping and flashing.  Initially her requesting Maz to meet up for a  drink at Salt  seemed a positive move,  but that soon went downhill.  But Levi did right by not getting involved.    Bree did look very nonplussed when Remi caught her out asking Levi to mention the talk she was having with him - OOPS! We all know from our previous experiences on here no-one can be forced to admit they have a problem, let alone see a counsellor.

Harper closed down Maz's  not so subtle suggestion she and Tane could be an item quite nicely.  Tane did offer to go with her to see if any of Perri's old neighbours could back up the abuse Carl had dished out to him, but I think it was likely they were probably scared of him so wouldn't have admitted about hearing anything.  That box looked very sealed up, did give an insight of what his family life was like before his dad turned on him.   Am I right in believing his mum left which may, but doesn't excuse, why Carl changed?   I like to think Perri has decided to bury the father he knew as a young child rather than the one who treated him so badly.

I didn't think Perri was going go tell Theo about having to take on responsibility  for his dad's funeral.  Kind of different thing for Theo if it had been the other way round, he's got a lot of other family.   As Tane said, he can only advise, it's got to be down to Perri.

True. Though if  I had Carl for a father, a wood chipper, a dumpster or the bottom of the ocean would be viable (frankly cheaper and much more fitting)  options 😁

Bree is is in a really bad place right now but her begging Remi not to tell is dangerous possibly; she's right people might think twice of her being a doctor but if the Alf saga were to get out (this is SB after all) she would possibly still be in that mistrust position but hopefully with prper help her recovery and career could be nurtured.

Poor Perri, very hard decisions to make; sadly one box of trinkets doesn't change very much. I'd say he'd be better off with a cremation because there isn't the obligation of grave tending as in if he were to end up going to jail etc but also maybe it might give him a chance to start again one day, you never forget what happens but it doesn't have to define your whole life.

Loved the gender reveal scene, it's great to see that unbridled joy of it all, a new baby coming, regardless of circumstance can be a momentous moment, scary and joyful in equal measure!

Bree. When. She saw remi looking on his laptop was a bit weird in a bree way  I thought. She may have gone a bit more mental. At him. Considering. She nearly killed Alf.  She is getting off lightly  and remi. Is only. Trying to help her. As you can see I am not a bree fan

Perri answered my question about his mum, she had died was buried back in New Zealand.

Bree did take it   a lot more calmly than I thought she would, unless and I hope I'm not wrong, she was just saying what she thought it was what Remi wanted hear. That is a double edged sword with Bree not wanting anyone - does that include colleagues - knowing about getting help with her problems.  I think most people would be wary if the doctor they were seeing had been having treatment for a mental problem. Ditto if said doctor was a recovering alcoholic, drug user.  Colleagues would be always watching them.  Xander picked up on her OCD the way she was arranging the napkin on the table at the Diner.

I felt for Dana being let down at the last moment when Harper took Tane to the reveal scan, even if he nearly missed it as he was involved with Perri and his problem.  That was a lovely moment when Harper revealed it was a boy!   Tane was so chuffed.  I get Dana was narked not knowing if she was an auntie or an uncle, but as Xander gently pointed out she would let it slip.

There is going to be police batons at dawn  at Yabby Creek cop shop now Cash has been relocated back there now Mangrove cop shop has been closed down. Can that even be done, what about the innocent locals? Who would be more Senior, Rose or Cash?  He had been in the job longer but then he quit.  They certainly clashed over Perri's charge of murder.  I know some on here have claimed Rose is OTT, but she is following correct police procedures and until more evidence is provided I don't think it could be reduced to self defence/manslaughter whatever.  Cash is in a difficult position living in the same house as a 'murderer' which is what he should stay out of it as it's conflict of interest.

We got a sneaky  look at Leah and Justin's breakaway and it appears lots of other folk did too. 🤣🫣😉  😳

Ah Carry On Summer Bay! 🤣

Eden, no, no, no 1000000000000000000000000000 x NO! You never read something personal like that, even if it's laid out, that is not okay.

Indeed, it's part of the former Callan Park Hospital estate. Though unless we're talking about a different time, it wasn't the place used for Justin's sessions in 2023 as they were up at Scheyville.

I'm not recalling the Kirkbride building being seen on the show before offhand, though just as a matter of interest the care home that Irene was admitted to in 2005 was also on the same complex.

Ah thanks, maybe similar architecture or something. I was thinking around that time period, although initially thought it was Belle’s rehab, but checked that episode and it wasn’t.

Leah & Justin’s skinny dipping and aftermath seemed very old school Home and Away, so much so that it just felt really out of place.

I was going to say that it's been mentioned quite a few times that Perri's mum is dead but I guess the show did it for me!

While Justin had a point that he and Leah aren't talking about their problems, Leah also had a point that learning to just enjoy each other's company again has value too, and they certainly seemed to be doing that! It was certainly nice to see after they've been permanently daggers at dawn since we came back in the UK.And yes, Leah managing to turn the tables on "Yarvis" was definitely a fun moment.

Eden was definitely out of line reading Abigail's journal, and what sympathy I got from her being clearly upset to realise how Abigail saw her, and desperate to make up for it, was lost when she promptly railroaded her way into gatecrashing Abigail's counselling session, which seems to have backfired.

A surprisingly busy episode actually with no fewer than five plotlines! Kirby seems to have thrown herself into the marketing thing and even managed to get a good response from Abigail. And it seems the senior constable wrestling match is already over as Cash gets a new posting. (I notice Rose was credited but didn't appear, so I assume there was going to be more of a follow up but it got cut.)

And Xander has seemingly successfully talked Dana out of invading Harper's privacy, shame he didn't manage to talk to Eden! Anyway, they're further along than Tane and Harper are in the terms of ready to have children. It's a bit surprising that Dana's never told Xander about her past before. Anyway, it seems they've decided not to make it a roadblock at the moment.

I don’t know I would have thought that seeing some skinny dipping on the camera would have brightened my day up working at the hotel reception desk no end It was good seeing Leah having fun for once I think the last time she had any was with Vinnie and I’m not even joking

But now they are back it seems Justin and Leah are back on repeat at having the same old chat they were having for countless episodes before

Kirby to be fair I think she looks very attractive so a good surfer model but really she should be a solo singer

Rest just plodded on I thought
