Leah’s lord of the rings epic continues They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for stories here Marilyn might be the wrong person to keep a eye on Justin and Leah she will report everything from Justin leaving his dirty underwear on the floor to Leah shaving her legs probably

Shame Felicity can’t come back to haunt Harper and scare Tane because I feel quite sorry for Felicity here

It did feel Roo was taking over - again, but this time it did work, we all know how careful with his money  John can be so the offer of a free meal would placate him,  it was sweet once the frost had thawed that Dana looked on him as  a dad and he thought of her as a daughter.  Loved how they both agreed to try all of the  desserts on offer.😁

Dare say they will still have their ups and downs but that is how it goes with parents, surrogate or otherwise.    At least Alf can breath a sigh of relief.

Yep it does indeed seem that Harper chose to go with  Tane's "let's see how this goes" idea.  It certainly left Dana open mouthed when she saw them holding hands in public.  Naturally, of course, she's going to want to know all the details of their arrangement, well not all of course.😉

I'm kind of onside with Marilyn and her wanting Leah to confess about her white lie to Justin.  It may have been a teeny one, but as seen before they can snowball and as she said she - and John - were witnesses to Leah and Justin's vow to always tell the truth.   Actually I was waiting for Justin to confess he knew Leah had planted the rings as he had already looked in the trap.   Of course Roo was really out of the loop about Leah and Justin's latest  set to.

You spotted my deliberate mistake then Red.😀  Seen a few spellings of Abigail's shortened name so thought 'oh well chuck them all in'.   Don't people in soaps learn anything about pushing people to see a counsellor/therapist, they will go when they are ready.  We know now Tim may be a bit of a rat, but to give him his due, he did get her to open up and his suggestion of  a journal worked as she was able to put her thoughts down in her way and in her own time.  Shame now it's backfired as she thinks it's all rubbish.  If Abby/Abi really wanted to get rid of it why put it in an open plastic bag in the household waste bin?  She could have wrapped it up properly then dumped it🙄.

Cash really was having a laugh here and I'm glad Mackenzie carefully pointed out to him just how ridiculous it was.Mind you, it seemingly didn't stop him having another go, only to find out Eden isn't sitting around pining for him after all.(Cash and Tane seem to have a time share arrangement on the house at the moment. No indication whether or not Cash knows about Tane and Harper.)

Not that Eden's any sort of saint of course, and it's dumb for her to be going back there.I'm not sure why Tim's being given a load of pats on the back for solving a problem that he caused in the first place or why anyone's taking his claim to have wanted to do the right thing seriously. I guess Levi was backed into a corner despite really not liking Tim.

Mali definitely crossed a line lying to Theo about Abby. Er, I guess at least he felt bad about it?

What did Cash really expect, for Eden just to fall into his arms because he had changed his mind.  They are a long, long way from being friends, what if it been the other way round would he have been so forgiving as he seems to think Eden should be?   Flick would be giving him  a right ear bashing.    I'm guessing he doesn't know who Tim is and his prior involvement with the family.  Tane and Cash are like ships in the night and Tane and Harper have only just become public as a couple.

I may be being cynical but could  the fact Tim hadn't told Eden about him dumping Abigail as a client was that he was hoping someone else would so he looked good?  Anyways he didn't have to see Levi and then agree to see Abby to persuade her to see a new counsellor which he did, and she agreed so he is good at his job.

Mayhap a touch of jealousy with Mali/Abby/Theo, but I'm supposing Mali doesn't want the friendship he has with her to go awry, he gives good advice and she seems to  listen to him and he's not judgemental.   We've seen Abby admit to Theo she's/was seeing a counsellor but she didn't mention their name, but Mali did  know so when Theo asked who Tim was , he saw his name on her phone, he could hardly tell him could he, it would be breaking a confidence in a way.

I'm guessing they're having Cash go off the deep end again in order to make Eden look sympathetic, because while Cash doesn't have any reason for playing the victim, Abigail most certainly does. Eden and Tim definitely deserved both those serves she gave them, and Eden's "No conflict of interests now, right?" attitude was rather self-serving. I can understand them wanting to make sure she was okay, but on balance, rocking up at Abigail's place wasn't a bright idea.Meanwhile, Mali finds himself caught in a lie. I can understand him not wanting to tell Theo the real reason he lied, but it feels like he doubled down on it by trying to manipulate Theo into staying away from Abigail instead of backing off and accepting it's her decision who she wants to spend time with.It fell flat anyway, because she went straight to Theo after her latest run-in.

Rose was debating whether she could discipline Cash not so long ago and now she gets to find out.Pulling Tim over for a driving offence is petty but not crossing the line.(Incidentally, Abby tells Eden that it was Cash who told her about her and Tim, when in fact it was Kirby that decided to open her mouth in public and blow the whole thing wide open. But I guess Eden needed to find out Cash knew somehow!) Now, however, Cash is hurtling over the line, still acting as though breaking up with Eden was somehow him doing something noble and self-sacrificing, and ignoring the fact that he's the one that wrecked Eden's life and snatched her future away from her for spurious reasons. I'm not too impressed with Tim either, but there's no doubt that Cash has treated Eden worse than he has.

There is no law saying how long you have to have lost a partner before you are 'allowed' to fall in love with someone else.  Some people never do but others do and what's with the he he?

No agree entirely, the 'hehe' was rather a laughing comment on the 'only in soaps' from previous poster, in my own family unit we've seen some fast movers but our neighbour topped it by actually getting engaged while her husband was dying, truth is stranger than fiction, it really is sometimes. In contrast my Nan lost my Grandad nearly 41 years ago and she's always said there would never be anyone but him.

I think, oddly, had Tane met Harper if not first but certainly before he dug deep with Flick he may have chosen the former, he seemed to change alot of losing Ari, grief does that.

Oh Cash, Cash you really are not coming off well here trying to make heartbreak sound noble but kind of becoming stalkerish now. Equally do not blame Abigail for tearing Eden off a strip...though I think one would most definitely have to question Tim's ethics too.

Abigail does indeed have every  reason for tearing strips off Eden and Tim, she trusted him.  To be slightly fair to him he did stop seeing her as a client before he decided to start seeing Eden seriously.  But of course she doesn't know that or would even believe it.  Of course she'd now be thinking all Eden told her was a lie.

But Cash on the other hand was very petty, OK Tim made a slight traffic error by not indicating but fining him for it was OTT, he wasn't speeding, both wearing seat belts, then breathalysing him. Wouldn't have helped his mood when Tim put his hand on Eden's knee.  Was it just by chance he was behind him  or had he seen them in Tim's car on the way to Abigail's?  Rose, very understandably, came down on him like the proverbial, for checking Tim out by using police equipment and for no more reason than he's jealous that Eden has moved on and he doesn't like him.   Rose was pretty lenient in letting Eden burst in the cop shop and had a rant at Cash.  Guessing invisible sarge was just that  invisible.   Does seem to happen a lot at Yabbie Creek cop shop, people allowed to wander in and have a go at whoever.  Eden was so right to have a go, she waited for him to open up and let her back in, but no he was insistent it was finished so he has absolutely no right to target her new guy.  His claim Tim is dodgy and he doesn't want her to get hurt, plenty of other folk looking out for her.

Eden had a confession of her own to make - to Tim and why this cop who had helped Tim out very recently - was so down on him  - the fact being he was her ex.  To be fair, again, Tim was understanding as of course as  a counsellor he'd know how grief affects  different people.

I have to say Kirby has been a bit slow there not twigging Mali is into Abigail, but now she does after he told her he 'lied' to Theo about who Tim was.  There was a tricky moment with Theo, Abigail and Mali, and Theo saying to Abigail Mali had told him all about Tim and who he was.   Justin, it looks like is living up to his promise to be truthful and passing it on. Theo got why Mali misled him, as he had been seeing a counsellor and probably  not wanting it known by all and sundry.  It is a very private matter and up to that person to reveal who they tell things to.

I know itis purely coincidence but noticed Tim's surname was Russell and he does bear a resemblence to Dylan...don't tell me we've got another long lost child of Angie's in the bay...though his lack of morals might be a clu, haha! 😅

I realise I might be letting my personal feelings cloud my judgement but I have a hard time believing Harper would ever be Tane's first choice. If you look at everyone he's ever had serious feelings for, not just Felicity but Mackenzie and Ziggy too, Harper doesn't really seem like his type, he's always preferred women with a bit more life to them, and I don't think Ari dying has changed that. I'd venture to say that, if Felicity was still an option, I'm not sure he'd be with Harper even with the baby as an incentive.

Alf's episode count this week:Three.

Well, Rose and Remi both did their best to pull Cash into line but stalkerish is definitely the word. His insistence that he's protecting Eden seems completely delusional, and I'm glad Remi well and truly called him out for messing her about and still acting like he has a say in how she lives her life. He's actually managing to make Tim look like the better option and it's not like Tim or Eden have done anything to be proud of, for all the show trying to build them up.

I actually had quite a bit of empathy for Remi here.I'm very aware that I'm comfortably well off (if nothing like a millionaire!) for reasons that have nothing to do with me and everything to do with the family I was born into. I felt that Bree's "poor little rich kid" jibe was a reminder that, mental health issues or not, she's not actually a very nice person, so I don't know why Remi ended up apologising to her.

So, Alf may be losing the bait shop for all his bluster. Kirby's found herself in the awkward position of being a kind of mutual agony aunt to Abigail's two suitors. It was typically tone deaf of Mali to insist you can't just switch off your feelings to the woman he apparently did just that with!
