Frankly, I think my biggest takeaway from that was that Eden needs to get her head out of her backside. Any sympathy for the way Cash is treating her (which is pretty awful) is offset by the way she seems to be paying it forward to Abigail. Her rant at her was completely narcissistic: Abigail's realised she made the wrong call and is trying to apologise and make up for it, and Eden just keeps on trying to make out she's the superior one and Abigail should have listened to her, ignoring the fact that as soon as Eden said Nerida was lying, Abigail looked into it and realised she was right. To be honest, I'm in two minds about Abigail withdrawing her complaint: I can understand her wanting no part in Cash and Nerida's vendetta, but everything she said was valid and Tim has behaved very unprofessionally, which he's probably now going to get away with. To be blunt, both Cash and Tim deserve to be hauled over the coals now and I think Rose was a bit too kind to Cash with Tim's complaint. It feels like the main point, that Cash was identifying himself as a police officer to try and get people to give him dirt on Tim, kind of got glossed over. Even now, when Cash realises he's wrong about Nerida, he still can't let go of his agenda and is just doing the same thing for a different reason, just using it as another excuse to try and scare Eden into staying away from Tim. It's no wonder everyone's out of patience with him.

Not much else going on except for Lyrik regretting buying those bigger amps still, and Alf and Marilyn popping up to make up their episode counts.

I guess we're at the point where these episodes were shown mashed up together in Australia, which may explains why the cast list was a mess, with no credit for Abigail and instead credits for Kirby and Harper, who didn't appear. (Also, somewhere along the way the spelling of Nerida's surname has changed from Mullens to Mullins?)

Eden was full on, but could that be guilt as she now knows Abby was right without without the bias of her believing everything Tim said was gospel. Just as they had made up  again they've busted up again.   Fine line there with Abby withdrawing her compliant, Tim had dropped her as his client so he could date Eden so there wouldn't be a conflict of interests.  It's more of Nerida's vendetta, Cash got caught up in it because of his own reasons.   He couldn't have foreseen the  real cause behind it.

Now she's been caught out Nerida is really ramping up the revenge idea.  Odd comment to make to a cop about setting  a fire.  Was kind of weird us seeing Cash and Abby both reading Nerida's journal notes at the same time.  Luckily I had recorded it so I could pause and read what had been written down.  It was totally delusional  on Nerida's part, OK I get he may have made her  a cup of tea but why wouldn't he?  Of course he listened, it's his job, but the rest of it, absolutely all in her mind.   Problem now of course is no-one  will listen  to Cash's pleas/demands about keeping Eden away from Tim, though she was in no danger of being hurt physically by Tim, but Nerida on the other hand  is another matter.  Will she want the other woman, as she sees Eden, out of the way so she and Tim be together as they should be.   Did Cash identify himself as  a cop  when he was ringing Tim's family, friends and colleagues?

What did Remi really expect when Rose came  round, it was really ear blasting, it was in the garden and it was dark so I'm guessing it was pretty late at night so people would be asleep. Did 🙂 when Rose unplugged the speakers so she could be heard.  No Eden, natch, but where was Kirby, just Theo, Remi and Justin having  a jam.  It did click, somewhat belatedly to Remi, he can now afford to buy/rent somewhere to play their music as loud as they like without disturbing anyone.  Though with the previous aforementioned threats from Nerida is that a good idea them being away from people?

See Alf agreed with me about  Maz revealing to Roo about him catching on about their scheme. He would have liked to have them run about a bit more doing his bidding.

Certainly in the only phone call we heard, to Tim's sister, he identified himself as a police officer.

Cash might be slightly more plausible if he didn't insist on boiling everything down to "You need to stay away from Tim", as if that's an automatic guarantee that Nerida won't just go after Eden anyway, rather than just a solution that suits Cash. Tim's declared that Nerida isn't violent and Eden and Rose seem happy to accept it. To be fair, assuming it was her behind the vandalism, she's only gone after property so far, although that could still lead to someone being hurt. And yeah, you'd think by now that the folks of Summer Bay would avoid going to remote spots near the end of the year. (It's not like Eden and Remi didn't make that mistake last year!)

It was a nice touch to have Cash and Tane touch base on their respective crises. Harper's almost certainly right that she and Tane wouldn't be together without the baby and he doesn't love her the way she wants him to, although she may also be right that it's not affecting her judgement over the baby. But yes, there's still a risk either way. At least she's agreed to talk to Levi. It was a bit odd that Mackenzie, Levi and Abigail suddenly popped up for one scene that could have been saved for next episode (and even odder that Levi isn't credited and the other two are!).

Naturally no-one is taking Cash seriously when really this time they should.  He does have backup  as John walked into the Lyrik house and saw the damage Nerida had done and lets not be fooled it wasn't her.  Maybe John should ring Remi and tell him what had been done, he has no axe to grind.  Cash also saw the damage that had been done to Tim's car and the message BURN  daubed on the windscreen gave the biggest clue as to who it was.  Hopefully Cash will ring the cops at Yabby Creek  and get Rose and co to see if they can find any dabs or DNA.  Tim may well have said Nerida isn't violent but that was then and this is now.  He  didn't have a new lady in his life back then.   Of course Nerida wouldn't have known Eden has gone off somewhere so maybe thinking she'd be back later that day so would get the message.

That was some fantastic place Remi took them to, was it a hotel he had taken over? it was certainly remote but obviously still in mobile phone range.  Leah gave Justin permission to go then😁, though once again the garage will be closed for business.

We saw in the trailer Cash manages to get someone to take him to them.

Finale day in Aus is today so of course there will be tension on both the Harper and the baby storyline along with the Nerida one.  Will  a total innocent be hurt? At least we won't have to wait long for the outcome of the cliff hanger.

Harper must be getting so uptight with both Dana and Tane asking her how she is the first time they see her, that certainly isn't going to help her blood pressure.   Bad enough the worry about the baby isn't helping it.  It has been, as mentioned before, a reverse romance so would be tricky enough but the added problem with the baby and if  he should die 🙏  that he doesn't, would that be the end of them. Not that bad a suggestion Harper go outside to get some fresh air, I know she's supposed  to be having bedrest but she must be suffering cabin fever trapped in her bedroom and only leaving to go to the living room and loo.  Another thing adding to her stress levels.  Her blood pressure suddenly shooting  up did prompt her to see Levi.

Alf's episode count this week:Three. Things go mad in finale week once again with Mackenzie, Cash, Tane, Eden, Levi and Abigail all appearing in four episodes...but bizarrely, Leah doesn't appear at all, despite a number of references to her being around.

Thinking about it, the cliffhanger is better than I thought. Nerida might have been parachuted in at a late stage to provide a catalyst for it all, but this isn't really about her, it's the culmination of the self-destructive behaviour Cash has been exhibiting even since Felicity died and his irrational belief that everything he's doing is to protect Eden when in reality he's just making things worse and worse for her.Yet again he goes charging in acting like a crazy person and achieves nothing except getting Tim's back up.It was even worse timing than usual, as Tim's rather poor lack of insight finally kicks in as he realises he's the rebound guy. Kirby's insecurities are flaring up as well with her getting prickly at Justin filming her.

Mali did a spectacularly bad job of communicating with Abigail, who was apparently completely unaware of the gala being cancelled and the issues with the promo posters. Fortunately, he managed to take it in his stride, with a bit of help from a reluctant John. Mali going to kiss Abigail and then laughing was very weird, and her kissing him was even weirder. We know he likes her, and she's grateful to him for giving her a chance, but there's not really been any sign that she sees him like that.

Harper finally twigs that "Do nothing and hope for the best" wasn't the best plan she could have come up with and opts for the surgery. Levi really doesn't seem comfortable with it but I guess we'll see how that pans out!

It was  a good finale, no actual death, as far as we know anyway.  Cash had his cop head switched on when he clocked that  name on that buggy and realised that is where the gang were.   Natch, neither Eden or Remi were taking his calls but as I said before John could ring them and let them know, but at least he's rung the cops.   Ironically Cash's insisting on ditching Eden so he didn't lose anyone else he loved, what about Gary, has backfired as she is  now in danger of getting bumped off by Nerida has come up.  She was in no danger of being hurt psychically by Tim.   Has Tim never heard of the term "Hell hath no fury"?   Tim and Cash both needed their heads knocking together as them shouting at each other would never solve anything.

Tim, to be fair, didn't know the history about that song  Eden didn't want to sing but he does now and now  he's clocked what we've known all along Eden is still in love with Cash. He may well be a  very good counsellor and tell others what they or their partners are feeling but when it comes to you yourself it's a different matter.

I'm guessing we will find out what really happened with that fight between Cash and Tim, started off pushing and shoving each other and then? 🤔   It wasn't what Remi thought he was seeing, Cash to me anyway looked like he was applying CPR to Tim.  Who rang the cops btw, both were bloodied, Cash had been knocked out.

I don't think Abby was around when all this photo business and the fact the gala had been cancelled, she was involved with Cash and his investigating Tim and Nerida pitching up.  As it turned out it all went  well, they made  a good team  and it looked like he had got a lot more sign ups  and she managed to sweet talk John into doing a discount deal.😄  It was odd him going to kiss her and then stopping because I guess of what he told Theo about her not being in the right place to get involved with anyone.  Maybe it is gratitude on her part and he's reading more into it. 🤔

Perhaps it needed a scare like that for Harper to reconsider her options, more ready to listen this time round and take them in.    Do most top surgeons do house calls?  Typical of babies, I guess, they go quite, panicking mum then waking up and kicking up  a  storm. 👶

Levi, understandably would be nervous, nay scared, of doing an op like that but any surgeon would have to perform a procedure which is rarely done for the first time.  Routine ops that they could do with their eyes shut - not recommended btw, have their risks if something is found that they weren't expecting once they open up the patient. 🤞🙏 for all.
