The not mentioning characters by name thing is a bit of a pain.

Also, Death Throes has to be *S***test movie ever made!🤣🤣🤣

Ivl've Seen "Mature Entertainment" with better production values!🤣

*cackles like Gilbert from Inbetweeners* God!

Valerie...Well at least we get a glimpse into her backstory and the Matheson girls' too (echoes of the Smith kids with parents being Addicts)

Welcome to Addiction Theo; sing and get rid of the Deadwood, the girl ain't worth it, at all!

Interesting insight to Harper/Dana (silly me but is it Harper or Dana that is older?) and their polarising views on their parents, I'm very much on Team Dana with that one.

I have a theory that maybe Dana was abused but Harper never saw because she was either A) Protecting Harper or B) Harper was the favourite in their twisted minds. Who knows?

Alf's episode count this week:Three. John's turn to not appear, I guess he's really committed to this trip to the city!

I had no sympathy for Theo here. He was the one begging for pills and insisting he couldn't do an interview without them last week, so Valerie's right that he just came across as a hypocrite by, ironically, doing what she did last week and trying to insist she could cope without them. That said, I did find Valerie's spaced out behaviour afterwards rather disturbing, it was just a bit too much of a shift from the depressed state she was in before. It felt less like her coping and more like her seeking some sort of escape.

I must admit I was largely on Dana's side as well.Whilst Dana is making a lot of assumptions about Maia's situation, Harper just came across as completely sanctimonious and refusing to acknowledge that some people actually are just bad parents. It was nice to fill in a few blanks about their history and the fact that they don't seem to have any family apart from each other (and surrogate mum Irene, I guess!).

Meanwhile, we have chalk-and-cheese siblings number two with Felicity taking Eden's place as the resident Stevie Marlow fangirl and convincing Cash a movie night is a good idea. And it turns out she was actually right and it was useful homework! I wasn't sure how into the film he was, but for all his snark, he definitely isn't keen on cats leaping out.

Looks like they are going with a Scream vibe with Stevie so my theory about it being Levi is shot Definitely the best story for me at the moment and I was hoping to see Stevies movie Death Rows is it? Incrediblely cheesy but horror normally is

Do you ever wonder if Kirby ever kicks herself for giving up being a solo artist? She just fights with Theo now

Im kind of bored of the baby story already

Has Theo got over his addiction already?  Leah, unintentionally, stirred up a lot bad memories for Valerie and but then she veered  into her pushy mode again.  She, Valerie, had seemed to be doing better, maybe due to  being with Theo, but now has gone off piste.   Maybe the way she was acting was down to the fact she'd been off them for a short while and that is why it had such a way out there effect. Perhaps it was an escape to block out what had happened?  Theo and Kirby's big row which Justin saw but didn't hear prompted him to ask Theo what it was all about and I'm guessing that could have serious damage in him and Kirby + Remi and Eden working on Justin and Leah's wedding music.  I suppose it might cause a bit of awkwardness if Theo and Valerie were dating even without the drugs.

Got  a bit more history from her, her parents rejecting her at Josh's funeral which must have hurt. Theo has been the only one she felt she could confide in.

That kind of came from nowhere the fact that Harper and Dana came from a dysfunctional family but it does explain why they are so close.   I wonder if that is why Harper became a SW to help other families who had been there, done that.  Dana had the idea 'Maia' had had a tough few months but from the condition of her, how healthy she looked and had such lovely clothes I'd say that wasn't the case.  As Harper said mum could have been suffering from severe post partum syndrome,  like Bianca had after she had Rocco.  Harper is the oldest btw.  Harper had protected her from the worst of it, but that sort of thing will always have a lasting effect. Xander was a good shoulder for Dana to cry on, he just listened and offered advice which she took as they made up.

Cash was brow beaten somewhat to watch Death Throes, but it did give him some idea of who he was looking after.  A shlock horror it appears.🤣 when he jumped at that scene when the cat jumped out!  Mind you I did that at the end of Carrie even  though I knew it was coming.   It did give  him a lead for him to follow up on though - 2346. Where was Eden, Remi is off seeing his parents so not baby sitting him, visiting Imogen as  Levi is away?

At least it wasn't an Ailsa case where she actively tried to smother Duncan but we have little info as is.

I'm really disliking Tane at the moment.  I can't really disagree about sticking up for him regarding the article but certain characters are acting like he's a victim, where really he found a baby did the right thing and that is the end of that.  Rose seems to have taken over Cash's mantle of letting people off easily.  There was the stuff with Leah when she was driving and now Tane practically assaults someone and she doesn't do anything (I know there's an argument the reporter deserved it) but I thought Rose was a person who did things strictly by the book and that's a couple of times she's made allowances for her friends.  She did tell Tane that he had to leave the hospital and the matter is out of his hands but she only did that because she was ordered to.

In spite of my dislike I was glad he was so cold to Dana though.  Yes, it was harsh but she's been asking for that and needs to learn when to keep her mouth shut.  Her argument with Harper about their parents (regardless of how understandable it is) reaffirms how she often seems to lack empathy i.e. adopting Tane's attitude towards the mother who abandoned her baby.

I did find Kirby's reaction to Valerie being high again quite amusing.  I agree that Theo was a hypocrite but I think Valerie's a freeloader and quite honestly don't see any benefit to her staying at Justin's so hopefully he will keep pushing Theo and find out about her drug problem.

I do also like how in addition to Eden, Harper and Felicity are also part of the Stevie Marlow fan club.  Looks like Cash may be onto something.

I feel like Valerie's got a lot of insecurities and, except for the drugs, I think she and Theo actually could be good for each other. That is a pretty big "except" though, and the fact they've been enabling each other isn't good.I'm not sure how I feel about Valerie lying about going to the clinic, it did seem like Leah kept pushing the issue until she heard the answer she wanted.Anyway, for all Valerie's paranoia, Leah and Justin seem happy about them being together, although that will probably change if/when they get the whole story! Brody gets a mention, but Theo is the obvious candidate among the current cast for being Justin's best man and he kind of justified it.

Sorry, Roo's now glued to Maia's bedside? I mean, I guess it explains when she's not in an episode, but what happened to only medical and social staff being allowed near her? I could understand Harper and Dana stepping up, since they're the only ones that qualify, but how does Roo fit in? Are we to assume that the hospital staff (and Rose) have just decided to turn a blind eye and ignore Sarge's diktats? (After all, none of them minded Tane being there.) Anyway, Dana tried to be a bit more practical but there were big holes in her plan.

Rose turns out to be the latest Death Throes fan: I guess Cash really is the only person in the world who isn't! And his lack of showbiz knowledge means he's behind again, as everyone just assumes he knows another castmember died. A camera hidden in a teddy bear: The stalker isn't Robert Robertson, is it?!

I’m getting kind of bored of Theo and Valerie now But Valerie I would say has a valid reason for drugs She’s guilt ridden about her brother dying in the crash Theo I still don’t really see a real reason and given he is the main character here I don’t really care I just hope Justin’s reaction is worth it

I like the Stevie story it’s quite silly the fact her cast mate got killed and nobody connected it made me laugh like how dumb are the police? The movie is god dam awful Why was it shot within a blue glow? So the stalker is Ghostface from Scream haha
