If Mackenzie wasn't keen on being the centre of attention, then she didn't really get her wish, what with everyone crowding around her and Levi making her the focus of his speech! Fortunately, she didn't seem to mind and was touched by what everyone had done and how much they cared.Of course, she seems to have decided they care a bit too much, as, after he's basically annoyed her into going, she decides to plant a kiss on Levi, who took his time pulling away.Well there's an ethical minefield for them.(In fact, the situation's pretty clear-cut: He met her as her doctor and, for all the socialising and mutual acquaintances, that's what he still is.)

Theo might as well have said "Hey, you remember this time last year when Remi and Eden were out of action after the season cliffhangers? Well..." There was an odd moment when he talked about those that couldn't be there and Irene leaned over and patted John on the hand: It felt like it was meant to signify something but I can't think of anyone close to John it could be referring to. Gina?!

That was some definite mixed messages from Tane. As Felicity said, why would he follow her? I get that he cares but it was just likely to make things worse. Okay, being fair on him, maybe he didn't know why she left. Despite what some write-ups suggested, he seemed to spend very little time with Harper at the event. Weren't he and Felicity actually sat at the same table earlier on?

I can see why Justin would feel hurt that Marilyn's heard from Leah and he hasn't, but what good did he think ringing up the clinic and losing his rag would do? It takes Alf to point out that if Marilyn's written to Leah maybe he should try doing the same.

He's probably thought of that and is thinking"What if she doesn't read it?" "What if she does and chucks it away?"

Levi must have very persuasive qualities, he did get Mac there.  I did laugh at him reading that mag about Wonderful Homes.😆   It has been mentioned on other posts about where her heart op scars where.  Her pj's would have hidden them but that dress was quite low and you couldn't see any.  That speech of his did tend to be very Mac focused.

I know it's wrong to assume someone who can't speak for themselves would want people to do certain things, but I think Theo and Kirby were right about Remi definitely wanting them to perform as Lyrik.  Natch Eden would have been in no fit state and Cash would have been with her.  I'm guessing like Rose who was on duty at the cop shop Dana was on duty at the hospital.  I did notice one notable absence - where was Roo? John losing Gina was a long time ago so that is a bit of a mystery.  Perhaps he meant Remi, Bree, Eden and Cash.🤔

Xander it has to be said did a great job and Mac rightly thanked him for all his efforts.  A lovely hug between Flick and Max. All the guys scrubbed up very well.  Did I hear they had raised A$8000 which is petty good seeing how quickly it was arranged and set up.

Felicity looked stunning and took Tane's breath away, she took his compliment very well but did back off him taking her arm.  I feel he has been giving her mixed messages, one moment not wanting to get close but then looking at her the way he was.  He did get a kick back when Felicity said she was moving on when he followed her back to Salt.

I thought that no-one was supposed to contact Leah either by phone or letter for at least a fortnight which is probably why Justin was so shocked to hear from Maz that she had had  a letter back from her.  He did go though that with Brody when he was in rehab.   I guess whoever it is can write a good old fashioned letter, you know in ink on paper and  send it off to wherever it is and the patient/resident has a choice of reading it or not.    It was no good Justin getting his undies in an uproar by ringing them and demanding to speak to Leah so good for Alf making that very helpful suggestion.

Ah yes that kiss, he did take his time pulling away, let's hope Mac didn't read more into than there was, though he looked pretty pensive when he  left her room.

Bit of a Post-mortem  outing today, take away the scare for Remi.

Tane, focus on *you* before getting into anything else.

I suppose after a big opening week needs a cool down to cap it off, I guess.

Allf's episode count this week:Four. Roo didn't appear at all: Did I miss a line explaining she was somewhere else?

Tane's mixed messages continued, at least to start with. I'm not sure he really needed to follow Felicity again, but at least it led to them having a chat and him admitting that this was about more than her messing up and he hadn't been honest about what he wanted.Somehow, unless one of them's leaving soon, I still can't quite believe that that's it, even though they seem to have been left in a place where they can't get back together without one of them doing something they don't want.Tane making a move on Harper was a pretty self-destructive moment.I remember him trying to hook up with Mackenzie on the rebound once, and it's not really the best way to keep a friendship! Xander maybe had a point about Harper needing to protect herself.

In amongst all the angsting, I can understand Marilyn and Alf not wanting to trick Leah or whatever, but has no-one bothered to ring the clinic and ask them if it's okay for Justin to send her a letter? Is it just partners who are banned from contact?

Bree is becoming more and more irritating. Maybe I should be more sympathetic but she needs to be either a doctor or a girlfriend and stop throwing her weight around and thinking she knows better than those who are more objective.

I didn't hear anyone say why Roo wasn't there so glad it wasn't just me who thought they had missed something. Have we missed Alf going to see Martha?

We did see in the re-run Felicity seeing Tane talking to Harper, which was totally innocent, which is why she left.  Tane's persistence did pay off and he and Flick had a proper talk which was both beautiful and sad.  He finally admitted he was wrong to mislead/lie to her about being OK about not wanting children. His saying although they both loved and cared for each other their lives were on different paths. Sad too Felicity putting the Wedding photo away and taking off her Wedding and Engagement rings and carefully wrapping them up and putting them away.

Harper can certainly come across as being nosey, but Tane did totally misread her concern  for him by moving in for that kiss.  She may well fancy him but knows it's far too early for him to be interested in anyone else.

When we saw Justin writing that letter to Leah I had no idea he'd ask Marilyn to sneak it in with hers, damn sure that isn't what Alf meant when he suggested it.  Maz was very conflicted but to Leah it could have looked like she was being tricked. Maybe Justin didn't want to contact them again after  yelling at them last time, 😆 he could have just as Alf said give Maz the letter to give Leah openly.

Bree was pretty obsessive about Remi, echoes of Leah there,  but liked she did let Kirby stay and that song she sang to Remi was lovely, very haunting, I'm guessing it was an Aboriginal song?  We did hear it faintly when Tane and Felicity were talking.   He did come round and seemed OK at least he doesn't appear to be paralysed in anyway, then he started to have these chest pains, but throwing a wobbly wasn't a good idea. That's the problem with being a medical person when someone you care about is  in pain and you can't help when you feel can but can't because of it being unethical.  Her having a go at that poor guy was so not right.

Kirby and Theo didn't forget about asking Eden to join them she was recovering from her kidnap ordeal so would have been in no fit state to perform in front of a crowd.
