Okie dokie Carl is out on bail and although he hasn't breached his bail conditions by approaching Perri but there is still that threatening note.

Subtitles do get it wrong, and if may seem petty but when Cash was telling Felicity it was OK for her to go and  she'd be with mum and dad, her heard him say MUM but the subtitle came up MOM.

Not wishing to say I told you so, finally Mac and Abigail have talked properly without it becoming a slanging match and it may have been Abby having withdrawal symptoms but  I did smile when they ganged up on Levi - he doesn't know what he's let himself in for.   He likely thought he'd escaped all that when he was living at home with Abby and Eden.  At least he's got Mali as male back-up.

Mac didn't say anything to Mali about Abby and why she was staying with them, and he just told her  Mac said you'd been going through some 'stuff'.   Gutsy of her then to admit what had really been going on,  shows good signs she's accepted what she was/is a recovering drug addict.

Abby and Mali seemed to get on very well,  who knows it could be that she could get into surfing.   She liked hearing about his family and how they were about him nearly winning  a comp. Nice of Kirby to ask Alf's advice about framing Mali's certificate and putting it up on display or asking Mali about it first.  Alf very wisely kept out of it.    I may be being cynical but this random call Mali got from this random guy about doing more work could be sus so check it out first.

Eden has had a lot going on so I'm guessing Abby and Levi are a little down the list and Levi has taken over the lead  and she had been looking after her at the motel.   I don't blame her being angry with Cash just barging into her home and demanding why she just quit.  Even with their open door policy it's not done.

John does put his foot in it at times, but he didn't know Cash & Eden had broken up and he did apologise when he saw Cash later.  Then he had some good advice for him when Cash mentioned about working at Salt keeping Flick's dream alive, as he said it's a lovely thought but Salt is just bricks and mortar,  Flick will always be there in his heart.   It obviously clicked as Cash went to see Eden and told her he was standing down so wouldn't be hanging round Salt and was going to be a silent partner so she could go back to work.   All of this going on without Mac having any idea, that Eden quit and has now unquit, Cash won't  be hanging around and 'helping'.    But she will need some back up, she can't run it all on her own, it may have at times been erratic but  there were two of them onboard.  Will she ask Xander to step up as unofficial partner?

I don't think this argument/debate will ever be agreed on but Cash is grieving in his own way.  Ok so it might seem extreme for some the way he's pushed Eden away but he's doing what he thinks is right. Others cling onto their living nearest and nearest, which isn't healthy either.  It may seem illogical but he has lost three family members and he couldn't do anything about it, he couldn't keep them 'safe' as what happened wasn't due to an accident or someone threatening them, it was nature.  OK with their dad he committed suicide, but perhaps felt should have seen it coming.   Banging on I know but everyone does grieve differently.

I can understand Eden resigning in the fact that she's both doing what Cash wants but I can also understand her not kind of wanting to be faced with 'Flick' or ghost of too. I'm glad John actually gave Cash a talking too, he's in the wrong here. Also his kind of 'Er, don't want you to die on me my don't freeze me out' rhetoric was cringeworthy, he's a hypocrite and if Eden's got any sense at all, even when he crawls back she should kick him to the kerb. He broke his major promise to her and that should be the final straw for her, leave him behind for good as he would hurt again and again if she lets him. I'm glad Remi went in to bat for her, another sensible person.

Abby is just horrid but Mac's the fool, Levi just uses people for his own ends and then emotional blackmails them when he can't get his own way, saw it coming.

I agree that subtitles aren't reliable which is why, even though I was defaulting to them in the absence of anything else, I didn't say anything until we'd seen Abby's shortened name written down in an actual episode.

I've tended to sympathise with Claudia more than most people have, and we seemed to get to know her a bit better here. So, it turns out she's not an arrogant businesswoman as some people assumed, but someone who helps vulnerable people, which increases my feeling that she was perfectly right to be frustrated at Bree keeping her away from her work to put her through unnecessary anxiety. This arrangement with Justin isn't really an ideal solution though. It's only (barely) working for Claudia because Justin is bending over backwards while getting himself tangled up in a web of lies. (Is Justin driving her around in his own car? What happened to the hire car? Is her husband using it?) Of course, Leah continues to be self-absorbed and act as though Claudia's the villain of the piece and Theo's the one that's hard done by, which doesn't exactly encourage him to speak up.

I'm glad John was there for Cash. This is why I'm not convinced the show needs to flood the Bay with relatives of Alf, Irene and John: In many ways, they're the whole town's parents. John didn't intrude but he was there when Cash needed him. (As an aside, it was a nice touch that Justin mentioned Jett, albeit not by name.)

I'm beginning to suspect that the people making the show aren't seeing Kirby the way I am. Again, she was on the wrong side of the line pressuring Mali, and I'm surprised Rose got dragged into it so easily. Xander even argues that she should leave Mali alone and respect his choice, only to back down straight away. And by the end...Mali has given in to Kirby's badgering and we're apparently meant to think she did the right thing?

It does seem Claudia does have a good side to her, but she still has that attitude which would rub people up the wrong way so no wonder Justin was surprised to find out what her actual job was.  Yes, it must be stressful  but taking it out on innocent people is not good. As she said it's not just the physical side but the mental/emotional side.  Nice little non mention of Jett.

Justin, though could be getting into something he may not be able to handle,  Eric, Claudia's husband does sound controlling and the jealous type going by what Claudia said.  Justin is  a  good looking guy so he would be suspicious of him coming to their house and I guess to him supposedly driving her about.  Leah doesn't know about Justin's deal with Claudia yet and Theo is fretting Justin is avoiding him because he blames him for all this extra cost.  We've said it before but Justin should fess up to Leah in case Eric takes it into his mind to go and see Leah and say do you know your husband is having an affair with my wife.

That was lucky that John was there when Cash got the letter from the donor people. It was  sensitively  phrased  and I'm guessing TPTB consulted people who do that for real to get it so right, I teared up over it.  As I had taped that episode from the afternoon, I was able to pause and read it. Felicity helped to save five people's lives.  Cash was just accepting what had happened but this would have stirred it up again. Then there was that letter from the recipient of Flick's heart and lungs again very moving, even John got choked up.   Seems she is a  young woman as she said she was looking forward to going to collage, travelling  and maybe at sometime being  a mum.    Only problem being Cash has now got fixated on meeting her which while there is no law about  not doing it, recipients can meet with the donor's family and vice versa but too soon for Cash to be thinking about that.

Btw, I did have to check but Gina died of an aneurysm but had had  prior symptoms so John can sympathise with Cash.

It really does seem Cash & Eden breaking  up isn't public knowledge as Alf wasn't aware of it, as he thought Eden would be there for Cash.

Not light hearted but a diversion. Kirby nagging Mali again. OK fair enough he wouldn't be committing himself to anything by meting this guy  but her keep  on pushing it was OTT.

I think some  are being unfair to Abby, we've only seen mostly her bad side, but I think we should give her a chance to prove herself.

Claudia is alright as a MILF that’s all I’m saying Maybe it’s headed for a affair with a scary dragon Leah  at home I know if I was Justin who I would pick

The letter was incredibly moving, kudos to the writers for that! However, Cash's reaction is exactly the reason why they take the intermidiary/hands off approach because of either unhealthy attachment or judgement on the donor family part, both of which you know Cash could ultimately be guilty of.

Points to Tane for effort. He was trying to calm Perri down with the chat with Rose and the punchbag, but neither of them really seemed to reduce his stress levels. At least he liked the television! A shame that was the day Justin decided to play the heavy boss with Theo. Tane was doing everything he could...up until the point where he decided to twiddle his thumbs waiting for Harper rather than accompanying Perri to court. What, she can't get herself there now she's pregnant with his child? She got herself to the hospital easily enough! Just ping her a text saying "Had to go, hope to see you there" and focus on the job at hand.

Bree is getting ridiculous now. She spends her whole time doing pointless jobs, and then when she actually has a patient that needs her, she's more interested in the laundry. It's moving past the point where Dana can try and sort it out with friendly chats that Bree is clearly ignoring: If patient care is being compromised, she needs to take it higher up. In fact, Bree is so incapable of doing anything normally, it's a wonder no-one else has noticed. Does she save the eccentricities for her "shift buddy"? I should be worried about Harper, but I doubt the show would have her lose the baby and I wouldn't be that bothered if she did, so it's probably just there for drama.

Talking of ridiculous, Justin is continuing to come up with convoluted stories rather than just telling Leah the truth. (Theo wasn't credited incidentally: Given that he only appeared in the first two scenes, I suspect those were moved from the previous episode.) And it seems Xander's sudden agreement with Kirby was down to him applying her advice to himself and deciding that, if he can't buy into Salt, he'll own a business some other way. Nice that Rose supported him, but if he does leave Salt that'll leave Mackenzie another staff member down: She might be begging Cash to come back soon!

Not a lot to add on this one. I think Dana would definitely be doing Bree a favour to speak up to a superior; in the role she's in, the obsessive stuff is surely going to end up costing a patient highly before too long. I don't think I got off starting base with the other storylines.

Whacking a punchbag to take out your frustrations helped Tane and it seemed to do the trick with Perrri, was he imagining it was his dad he was thumping?   Like Cash Rose can't say what the court will decide just advise him to go and say his piece. Would be difficult having to give your evidence in front of the person you're accusing. Shame he couldn't do it by video link so he wouldn't have to 'see' his dad.   Where did that suit come from btw?  You don't always think clearly when you are in the position Tane was in.   Did smile at his 'nagging' of Harper to let up on her continuing her boot camp classes, as she said you've had other mums doing them but he replied that they weren't carrying his child.  She did agree to drop some of them.

Harper losing blood and  it was not said how much, but she was right to go and get it checked out, I believe it can happen and it turns out there is nothing wrong, just something that  can happen.

Bree has only started acting the way she is since Felicity died, she still blames herself, thinking she missed something, she's been a very good doctor until now, caring about her patients, talking honestly but gently  to their relatives. So very out of character for her obsessing  about small things, her counting and recounting the things in the resuss drawer and rushing off to clean her scrubs. Sounds like OCD which those who have it believe doing things like that can control things. If they do this or that nothing bad will happen.  Dana is in a difficult position, she wouldn't want to report her and cause more stress.

Justin can't keep blaming those innocent suppliers, so like most on here he should fess up.  He did give Claudia a swerve for not keeping to their agreement but of course🙄 Theo then caught him talking to her, he couldn't hear what being said but naturally he'll have got the wrong end of the proverbial stick. Apropo of nothing but I see he's growing his hair.

It seems Xander is getting itchy feet  by the way he was looking around Salt and asking Tane how he got into the gym business and what motivated him, well we know, Ari and Mia took him on, then when  Mia left to go back to New Zealand she gave him her and Ari's share of the gym.

Xander did kind of drift into his job at Salt after he quit the paramedics but  he likes his job and he's good at it, practically running the bar when either Mac or Flick did their disappearing acts, doing his eventing so may go into the hospitality  business himself.   He's certainly thinking about taking it seriously taking business courses and it's good Rose is behind him.  He did try and talk to Dana but she was distracted, worrying about Bree., but wisely, for her, kept quiet.
