I struggled my way through last few episodes to be honest really exciting stuff

Harper Tane is a bellend you should just be two co parents who get along there’s nothing wrong with that you obviously want to get married but Tane isn’t the guy heck I will marry you if you want you have nice blonde hair and look good Demi blue shorts I don’t know much else about you really haha

Sad that Lyrik have called it a day I suppose Not sure about Theo and Justin’s new hobby of doing up a car when they work in a garage really

Do shut up Leah

Dana was better today, to the point she actually had a bit of a point. The wedding was largely irrelevant, the key point was that Harper shouldn't be marrying Tane if she can't be honest with him about what she wants.Once she was honest, he was rolled over quite easily. He does seem to care about her and want her to be happy with this arrangement, although the question of whether that's enough for them to be getting married remains open.

Cash pushed way too hard, way too fast in demanding an answer from Eden.Fortunately, despite his faux pas in pushing himself forward as the celebrant for a non-existent wedding, John proved his worth as the show's resident surrogate father figure by giving Eden some good advice. So Cash has backed off and hopefully that's lesson learned.

Eliza remains a bit of an enigma. Her defensiveness over Roo asking how she can afford things is kind of undermined by the fact we know she did steal that money from Marilyn. But for all her defences, it's just possible that hug with Roo is genuine and she's appreciating what Roo's offering her.

Well, I guess they wouldn't have made such a big deal about Xander leaving if he'd been coming back.Good news for him but a big blow for Rose and Dana and...well, actually, Mackenzie's away at the moment, so I guess we'll have to wait for her reaction. Not that I necessarily want rid of the character but I wouldn't be against Dana leaving to be with her, it'd be a nice end for them.Of course, Dana might not want to leave with things so up in the air with Harper.

Dana may sometimes be OTT getting her point across but Harper finally listened and told Tane what she really wanted re the wedding.  Look what happened last time when someone - Flick - wasn't honest about their true feelings.  Bless John, he did jump to conclusions when he saw Harper and Cash together, but she did have the talk with Cash about how she did love him but  needs to build up trust again so need to take it slowly.  Anyways both couples have now sorted things out due to outside intervention.

John and Dana's friendship is back as it should be, him teasing her about her hangover  and assigning her to light duties. Him telling her what is was like in the good old days when he was in the Navy and phones weren't so readily to hand.  Of course him taking hers of her did mean she missed Xander's  calls about him not coming back,  leaving it to Rose to break the news. He must have really impressed those folk if he was offered such a great opportunity, but we saw how good he was, putting events together, sometimes at moments notice.

I thought that about Mac too, he was supposed to be coming back to help her run things at Salt, can he just leave like that without working his notice?   I'm guessing Dana has told him that Mac is away?   It does now make sense now Harper suddenly mentioning  last week the reason why she dumped her last finance  as she needed to be there for Dana when she was having her drug problem.  I guess it was one of those "It's her or me" ultimatums  and Harper chose Dana.  Of course Dana would want to be with Xander but feels she needs to return the favour and be there for Harper not that Harper would ask or expect her to.

Eliza is a complex character sure enough, of course we don't know why she was placed into foster care when she was 10 and how many places she had been in.  Not all foster homes are good. some just do it for the money.  We know she stole the cash from Maz but was it because she wanted to buy Roo something, was it expected of her in other homes to show her appreciation?|     It can also depend on how many kids they have under their care as it may affect the care they can spare on each child.  May seem  a cliche but she is a teenager so there would be hormones rushing round her body too causing more disruption.

Well, it's good that Leah was honest with Justin and Theo reasonably quickly, after another pointed look from Marilyn. It did feel like they were a bit quick to decide that selling the car was the only option, although I'm not sure that Theo's alternative is any better and he really didn't seem to get the point of Leah's reaction!

I liked the scenes between Rose and Dana, which remain eerily reminiscent of the relationship between Jasmine and Felicity. Rose's calm demeanour and wry sense of humour contrast nicely with Dana's blabbermouth tendencies.

I'm glad that Levi and Abigail took Eden and Cash's reunion in their stride. To be fair, Levi has been pushing for this so it makes sense he'd be on board, and we got some nice sibling scenes between them.So I guess we now know why the show SORASed Levi and Mackenzie's relationship at the end of last season: So they can pretend Levi and Imogen have been separated for a year when in fact it's only been ten months again!

Both Leah and Justin did 'vow' to John and Marilyn they would be honest with each other.  Perhaps a knee jerk reaction from Theo to get himself a loan so they could carry on rebuilding the car.  He must have enough funds to be able to do it, I don't know how much Justin pays him, when they actually are at the garage and I don't suppose Leah/Justin charge him much rent.

Dana did ramble on somewhat, wondering if Xander meant it when he said he loved her, Rose just let it wash over her, nice little reminder from Rose that it was Xander who persuaded her to come to the bay now he's the one that has left. Dana did say to Rose she couldn't leave Harper as she wants to be there for the Wedding and the birth of her nephew.

I liked those Fowler siblings scenes, Abby was all for Eden and Cash getting back together but  was relieved Eden was taking it slowly.  Abby had absolutely  no reason  to blame herself for what nearly happened to Eden and what happened to Tim and Cash.    I can see why she did, her and Nerida were coming from the same place seeing Tim for what I guess was the same reason, she got sucked in same as Cash did, but she cottoned on pretty quick and reported her.  Eden was more than grateful, telling her she saved her life by keeping Nerida calm  so giving the police time to get there.  Eden was surprised to hear Abby and Mali were an item but was happy for her.  Their teasing of Levi was so typical of sisters ganging up on their brother. 😁

We know you can't divorce until you been married a year, but I didn't  realise you had to be separated for a year before you can divorce in Australia.  Imogen and Levi must have been married for a while and  he committed  adultery so couldn't Imogen have put in for a divorce for that reason before then?

As I understand it (and I'm not sure I really do understand it), Australian law only allows "no blame" divorces.Anyway, Levi manages to follow up an excruciating phone message with an equally excruciating phone call: We've all had that moment where you're preparing to leave a message only to suddenly find a living human being on the other end!

Mali and Abigail were a bit lucky that Kirby was so easy going about them sloping off for afternoon delight. Mali finally reacts to Kirby's protest!

Justin and Leah had a few things to say but Theo's committed to this plan.It was quite a sweet moment when Justin silently joined Theo.

So, Remi and Kirby have a new friend, who I notice is credited as a regular so I guess he'll be sticking around.People might have to start locking their doors now he's around!

That does explain it,  if it doesn't really, why Levi and Imogen had to wait a year before divorcing.  Anyway he had to Google or whatever the Australian  version of it is to find out his next step. Abby was being the annoying little sister nagging him into ringing Imogen. That was an ultra embarrassing phone call from a usually calm professional top surgeon, he was babbling away like a teenager, then finishing off by adding "It's Levi". 🤣  Then  the phone call.  Imogen it seemed  hadn't blocked any calls from Levi.

Mali, it seemed was giving Abby space and letting her take the lead on where they went from here and she is OK at the moment wanting to spend time with him.  Kirby wasn't fooled at all by this urgent appointment Mali apparently had.

Leah had more to say about this loan Theo was getting and Justin was stuck in the middle. Justin did point out Theo is an adult.  Great that Remi offered to loan Theo, the money, he can more than afford it after all.  But it should be a formal agreement so there won't be any problems down the line which I think is why Theo turned him down.   I think Remi is feeling a bit lost at the moment, Kirby has a job, Eden when in town works at Salt, Theo was only a part time member of the band and now he's got this new project which will keep him occupied.  He's still not a happy bunny about Cash and Eden being a couple again.

I know we've only just met him but I think Sonny is going to be trouble, hope he doesn't lead 'our' Remi astray. How did he find out about Remi's inheritance?  He's obviously also known to Kirby from back in the day  and knows Lyriks' habit about not locking their back doors.

Alf's episode count this week:Three.

I think Google is pretty much universal! Except maybe in China...

It struck me during that opening scene that Tane initially suggested a beach wedding last time round until he realised it wasn't what Felicity wanted and switched to a country one. So maybe this is more the sort of wedding he wanted than appears! But yeah, the bells and whistles don't really interest him (although frankly, if someone asked me if I wanted the rings to be "white gold", I'd probably nod politely in a slightly bemused manner as well), and it's perhaps starting to dawn on Harper that they're not really what she's concerned about either and have just been a handy thing to focus on in order to avoid the real issue of whether this is the sort of marriage she wants. Leah admits the photo is Tane and Felicity's wedding cake, but is at least diplomatic enough not to add "and I got impaled with a metal bar while going back to fix it"!

I'll say this for Sonny, at least he's honest. I can understand John being concerned (he almost seemed to go into a panic at the sight of Remi freely handing over his credit card!), but Sonny doesn't really need to steal Remi's money since Remi seems happy to spend as much on him as he wants. Anyway, they had some decent catch-ups and I guess we'll see how much trouble he causes.

It's not entirely clear just how many of those posters Kirby and Mali have got (that initial envelope Kirby emptied out only seemed to have one copy of each picture?), but at least they're getting to do the advertising campaign they originally wanted.

Let's not forget Flick and Tane's wedding was on and off because of Flick changing her mind about whether she wanted to get married or not.  The one they nearly had was in the country but got postponed because the jute being interferred with causing Eden and Flick to crash. The Maori ceremony was really special for both of them.  Most blokes aren't that particularly bothered about the flowers and the other minuite, rings maybe.  John was taking his role as celebrant quite seriously by asking quite pertinent questions. Who was going to be Maid of Honour and more importantly who was Tane's Best Man going to be.  If I remember correctly Nik was going to be Best Man in the  first one, as of course Cash would have been walking Flick down the aisle.  Cash and Eden were just witnesses at the Maori ceremony.  Tane and Felicity's marriage was meant to be their only one but that of course went pear shaped.  We did see in the trailer Tane having an ultra awkward conversation asking Cash if he'd be his Best Man. Harper was seen having that intense phone call with Dana about Tane not having once said he loves her.

We do know for sure Harper and Dana won't be asking their mum or dad but what about Tane's relatives, isn't he asking any of them to come over from NZ?  It would be a stretch expecting Nik and Bella to come all the way from the US of A.  Harper hasn't really got that many frineds in the aby, but must have had some back in the city.

That was kind of spooky Harper really liking that particular cake so Leah had no choice but to tell her why it wouldn't be a good idea. It was, of course, before her time in the bay so wouldn't know. Hopefully Leah concentrating on the cake will keep her mind off interfering in Theo's business, it's properly killing her having to keep her nose out of it.

I'm still  having 🕷️ery senses about Sonny. As we heard they were neighbours back in the day and went to school together until dad went bankrupt and they had to move away. I thought it was very telling when Sonny said he hated Remi back then and I think he still resents Remi though it's not his fault.  Where has he been all this time, suddenly turning at at Remi's mum and dads and I  guess they told him where to find Remi.  They didn't tell him about Remi's inheritance, he'd found that out by other means.   He does come across as jealous at Remi seeming to be be contented, a good place to live, good friends about,  a woman he loves and who loves him and who isn't just anyone but a  doctor  to boot.

As an aside I'm guessing now Remi has all that  cash he pays the rent for the house? Another thought if  they all like it so much why doesn't he buy it if the owners would be willing to sell it?

That could have just been John, we know how careful he can be with money and seeing someone seemingly taking advantage of Remi's trusting nature would get his 🕷️ery senses twitching.  Hope Remi gets his credit card back.

Mali and Kirby did come to the agreement of using the original photos.  There were more so perhaps behind the scenes the ad agency sent to the rest back, Kirby's tat was back too. To quote Mali they are a  hot pair.
