Well, Mackenzie and Dana pretty much said what I was thinking. There's a distinct lack of passion from Tane and it's pretty obvious he doesn't love Harper and is talking around any attempt to pin him down.Yes, he cares about her, and yes, he fancies her enough to use her for a rebound hook-up, but he wouldn't dream of being a couple with her, much less married, if he didn't see it as a chance to be a family. And Harper is just deluding herself that she's got what she wants.Yet in the midst of it we get Dana saying she think they could be a good people, so I wouldn't be surprised if the show tries to insist Tane does love her not too far down the track.Personally, I think Felicity was the love of Tane's life and Harper will never measure up.

Remi has the germ of a good idea in there but is going about it all wrong. He should not have presented moving as a fait accompli without consulting anyone, and he's ironically stepped into Cash's role of insisting he's the one protecting Eden when he's focusing on all the wrong things (although at least, unlike Cash, he isn't actually making the danger to her worse).Even if they decide against moving, this warehouse could make a good rehearsal space.

Abigail's used up her three episodes so Mali can only tell her about his move over the phone and it's left to Mackenzie to react to it.I'm not sure he really convinced her.

Bit of a slap in the face to Kirby to use her altered photo like that.

Alf's episode count this week:Four.

Gary meets Townsend and is as unimpressed by him as I am, although the feeling very much seems to be mutual.Cash was being typically pig-headed and typically overly macho in insisting it would be Gary's fault if anything happened to Eden. It's put Gary and Rose very much on the back foot, as they discover that Cash (at least in his eyes) has a vaguely rational reason for not wanting to clear his name. And he actually manages to treat Eden like a human being (and the rest!) which may have confused him further. Eden was being melodramatic in insisting she and Remi are over for good, so I'm glad she's sorted it out by the end of the episode, even if it was in a half-hearted "Well, if Cash is okay with it, so am I" way. Looks like that's the end of Remi's moving plans though.

Kirby should probably have a word with Mali about reading the small print, but he's used up his three episodes so it'll have to wait until next week. Leah and Marilyn get points for good intentions but they really need a better plan than "We fight." It feels like maybe they should have told their side of the story on the photo, but from what little I know of social media, that might have been like putting blood in the water for sharks.

Despite not really seeing what the Bait Shop added to the show, Alf having the Caravan Park bookings in there makes so much sense. I think he could actually do with a bit of a grocery store too, milk, bread etc…

It’d be a good location for the much loved Coffee Cart actually.

The curtains at The Beach House really don’t go with any of the decor.

I’ve never really realised before now, but the sound effect the show still use for a fridge door opening is the sound of glass milk bottles rattling, but we tend to see cartons or plastic bottles.

Tane is being honest in an odd way, he does care for Harper but he shouldn't tell her he loves  her if he doesn't.   Love can come. It was actually August that Felicity died and there is no time limit on how soon someone  can fall in love with a new person and as been  said, Tane's not said the L word to Harper yet.

That was  a real clash when Townsend and Gary met,  though it was sneaky of Rose using the interview room to talk to Gary, no wonder Townsend wasn't impressed, Rose isn't on the case after all.  Gary revealing he's Cash's foster father didn't help either as in Townsend eye's he's another one who'd be on Cash's side so not being impartial.

Anyways Tim has woken up and his short term memory isn't that badly damaged apparently as he asked where Eden was and if I read the trailer right he confirmed Cash's version of accounts.

Seems Eden and Cash have decided to become more than friends, she snogged him without him pushing her away, then he moved in for another one.

Remi swallowed his pride and went to see Cash and admitted it was a knee jerk reaction on his part by going to the cops but I suppose Cash being a  cop he could get why he did it, if that had been people he didn't know he'd  accept what Remi said.   I knew somehow that Eden would forgive Remi, Remi got lucky there as we do know how long Eden can hold a  grudge for.

To be fair to Remi it was Eden saying she was finding it hard to be living  across the road from Cash and asked if he could find somewhere for her to live, but changed her mind reasoning why should she move.

Remi did have  a good idea but so didn't think it through, he let the money go to his head somewhat.  It did make sense for them to have somewhere with space and soundproofing so as not to annoy any neighbours but it would be disupting  everyone.  Theo deciding he'd commute and how would Kirby has a job she likes, would she have to commute?  Then Bree, he just thought she'd have no problem either.  His logic, I guess, oh she can transfer to a city hospital no probs.  Anyways looks like that has gone down the gurgler, could still use it as  a studio but would they want to keep slogging to the city, rehearse then come back again?   Must be somewhere nearer.

It won't be the first time Kirby has taken on the big boys, though this time it was on Leah and Maz's urging. Last time it was that cosmetics  company that Marilyn got involved with, the one that sold that dodgy cream that Roo reacted badly to.   Does anyone really read all the small print on a contract?   Depends how it was phrased, they can be very cunning how they state things, you read it one way but to them it means something else entirely.  Kirby must have found that out when she backed out of her solo contract, there were clauses in it she wasn't made aware of.

Cash did seem to be pulling away when Gary interrupted and is back to his "I'm cursed to being miserable and so is everyone around me" sulk. Good news for him in a sense that Tim has come round and cleared him (hopefully he's someone Townsend will finally have to listen to), but it shows how daft his deal with Nerida was when it could all fall apart so easily. If he'd kept proper tabs on her instead of giving her what she wanted and hoping she'd go away, the police might be able to take her into custody without any trouble now.Gary leaving Cash and Eden alone was nicely honest.

Well, I prefer Kirby standing up to herself than hiding away with low self-esteem. Getting her story out there was an obvious response to the ad agency's media blitz and Contract Advertising really should have thought of that one and chosen a photo whose subject wouldn't object. Still no reaction from Mali, who's in the photo right alongside her and thus being associated with this.

Cash was wavering when Gary came in, a very discreet exit by him btw. Gary also lost people he cared about, Cash and Felicity's parents, his wife, then Felicity but he doesn't push people away.  How long did it take for the hospital or Bree to let Eden know Tim had come around and seemed to have good short term memory?   Tim, when she got there appeared to be glad to see her and Bree had  told him she - Eden - hadn't left his side.  Had he heard anything she had said when he was in his coma as it is known they can. If so he'd know she was only there because she felt guilty about what Cash may have done.  OK Rose isn't on the case so why was she there asking Tim if he could remember anything about what happened, shouldn't that have been Townsend or one of the other Yabbie Creek cops and where was he? He  could have said it was Cash just out of spite  and to get a perverted revenge that he wasn't the one Eden wanted to be with. But he was honest and said it was Nerida who had attacked them both.  It was a big relief  that Tim has cleared him.  We did get cut off when Eden came back and ask it there would be an us.

I'm supposing Nerida wasn't expecting Tim to survive or if he did he wouldn't remember what really happened.  It's all blown up for her now though and nothing to do with Cash's promise to keep her out of it if he confessed. Of course now the cops will need to find her as she is now a person of interest aka suspect.  Legally she  is the alleged attacker until formally charged.   Nice touch that Tim thanked Bree for saving his life.

Not really part of the story but Eden did asked Tim the proverbial question "How are you feeling?"   .  I think it's a default in all of us.   He did complain of a headache which isn't really surprising seeing as Bree had to drill into it anyone would.   Kirby certainly has got the fire in her belly by going on the attack against the ad agency. She's also got Maz, Roo and Leah fired up too.  Rose  would be there if she wasn't a cop.  What's the betting though Rose and the other  cops will be called in to supervise the marchers once they reach Contract Advertising offices in Yabbie Creek?

I dare say if Irene had been in the bay she'd be behind them too.  Ditto Eden if she didn't have other things occupying her mind.  I guess Mali had done his three days but would be with her in spirit seeing as he is also of a certain skin colour. It was  a good idea of Kirby's to put up the before and after pics oh herself on her social media.

Was it a   female thing only, cos I'm thinking Theo, Justin and Remi would want to be on in it. I'm supposing the advertising agency were hoping she'd overlook it because of the good publicity the board shop would be getting.   The protest would highlight the fact that people like them can get away with it as the general public wouldn't know her photo had been doctored to make her lighter, thinner.  It would only be people who know Kirby. I wonder it that other girl in the poster had her photo retouched?  👍 btw for Ada walking backwards in the march, yes I know TPTB would make sure she doesn't take   a bad tumble but still not easy walking backwards - to Christmas - sorry - at quite  a pace.  You can catch your foot waking forwards so even more risky walking backwards.  I did spot one bloke in the march.   It was gathering momentum as they went along.

Did see a few men in the demo though obviously mostly women.  Leah's got a bee in her bonnet; would think she's the one on the poster.

I would have thought Rose being a cop would preclude her from taking part/being involved in anything like the demo.

Townsend isn't showing much more competence even now the victim has pointed him in the right direction, given that he still couldn't find Nerida even though she was wandering around the Bay bold as brass. (What was the point of a radio announcement to people to look out for her? Unless you know Nerida personally, "mid 20s" isn't much of a clue!) Oh well, at least he's belatedly got a police guard in place and, despite his bravado to Gary, apologised to Cash.Gary off again, despite his reluctance to leave a job half done.I guess we'll see if any of his parting words to Cash sunk in.I did quite like the relaxed camaraderie between Rose and Townsend despite everything.

Given the words upthread about Stunning Organics, I'm hoping this doesn't end with someone getting blown up.Contract Advertising haven't managed to put the genie back in the bottle and the protest seems to be free of backlash online so far, even if the law aren't quite as forgiving. It was kind of amusing watching Justin and Theo trying to keep track of what Leah's got herself involved with now as if she was an errant child.
