I can well understand Remi having misgivings about Cash but lying to Eden and letting her think he just hadn't come back was a step too far. At least he owned up as soon as she challenged him.I liked Cash and Eden before the show did a number on them last year, but I have certain misgivings about how they got back together and I really hope Cash means it about not breaking her heart again.I'm not confident that his rationale seemed to be that she nearly died and didn't so the curse is broken (really, how many times did Felicity come close to death?!), rather than admitting that he shouldn't have let superstition ruin their lives in the first place. I felt it was right that Eden didn't take Cash straight back, but she didn't last to the end of the episode. When Remi returned home and found Eden wasn't there, I wondered if he'd go over to Cash's looking for her: He might have been in luck (or not!) if he did.

Despite pushing Remi to give Cash and Eden a chance, it seems John is not feeling so optimistic about Tane and Harper. It's never a good sign when the bride's shedding tears of disappointment rather than joy, and Marilyn declares "It's all about the baby" as if that's somehow a good thing, unshaken in her belief that because they managed to conceive a child during a roll on the office floor, that means they're made for each other.

Whilst I'm not having as much of a crisis about it as Justin and Theo did, I'm disappointed that Lyrik's latest comeback hasn't made it out of the gates. It feels like they've been treading water for a year now and we're just facing more of the same.

True. Do we ever see. Theo and Justin. At the  garage  anymore  last time I remember. Was before Christmas. When Justin was accused of of having the affair

Yes unlike some, me too I admit,  who thought Remi should have kept his nose out of it all, but he was just being a caring friend to Eden as he knew what Cash dumping her did to her. Kirby would have done exactly the same. But he did overstep the mark but telling Cash to do one. But she gave him a right earful once he fessed up. Cash's rationale works for him I guess, and he had taken Tim's advice on board too about not wasting having the opportunity of having a second chance of happiness.  We know as Tim did that Cash will always be the one for Eden, and although she was wary she had to give in to her true feelings. I'm supposing they will take it easy and not spread the news they are back  together too quickly, they need to take it one step at a time. I was expecting that when Remi came home he'd find Eden wasn't alone and was er um rather busy. 😉

John is very concerned about  Tane and Harper's Wedding and how neither of them seem that excited about it.  I know he hasn't done many but this one is so low key and so business like.  Alf was his usual dismissive self but Marilyn  got how disturbed he was, which is why she went to see him and she's right he is  a romantic.   True no  Wedding ceremony is the same but she hasn't seen how Tane and Harper are when he's talked to them about what they want.  Plus Tane and Harper are giving out the vibe everything is fine.

Certainly does seem like it is the end of Lyrik which Remi seems to have finally accepted. It's been a while, since Remi had his accident, then other things kept getting in the way.  They did love doing  their jamming sessions together, especially the one at the hotel/resort until Tim and Cash got walloped. I suppose they could have those from time to time.  Theo has his job at the garage, Kirby is now a board instructor and Eden works at Salt so not as free as they used to be.  Will Remi still be doing his session work? I'm guessing Mac won't be holding them to their contract to perform at Salt?  Did Justin make that decision about Lyrik folding by himself without consulting the other three? It seemed Remi didn't wasn't aware of it.

Did have to 🤣 when Alf said to Justin about how he had helped those 'kids' so much.   I suppose from Alf's perspective they are kids, he is 78 after all.

Alf got why Justin said he felt lost without managing Lyrik, not that he's done much of that lately, but it was another interest  in his life.  Alf has his fishing and going off for the odd sail and his visits to Martha.   Justin only has the garage, when he's there, no offence to Leah btw.  You can't be glued to your other half  all the time, you both need your own interests.  Same with Theo, though he wasn't really a full time member, but it was something other to do when he wasn't studying or working.

I can't help feeling Dana is focusing on the symptoms rather than the cause here. Harper probably would like a big wedding, but she'd also probably prefer a basic wedding that she thought Tane really meant, than having a big event while still suspecting he's getting married for the wrong reasons. They should indeed have listened to John, who could see that an ambush wasn't what she needed.I did like John and Marilyn's utter confusing at Dana's announcement about a mood board from a prior engagement, and Dana was quite sweet in the annoying-but-well-meaning-little-sister role.

I liked Justin and Theo acting like a pair of nervous schoolboys, trying to flatter Leah while not mentioning what could be major sticking points. They really do work well as a family unit, knowing full well that she's the boss.Of course, they probably should have questioned Leah telling them to support her doing something crazy a bit more.I'm glad that Alf not letting Roo know that he knows got wrapped up and hopefully without any retaliation this time!

Both Dana and Maz were press ganging Harper into doing something she wasn't that really into. I  don't think Harper would mind a small Wedding, they don't have to be flashy, smaller ones can be very lovely without all the gloss that go with bigger ones, they can mean even more to the people that actually matter - the couple.  Tane and Flick's actual Wedding  was low key, with the Maori ceremony, with only Cash and Eden there as witnesses, they made up for it with the celebration after.  John was right about it not being the right thing to do. Those sites he was looking at for  was a no-go.  50 people being the minimum, do Tane and Harper know 50 people?  I was confused about the mood board - wtf is that?🤔 Anyways  that was then, this is now Harper is older and OK not so wiser, but seeing things differently.  Maybe she could talk to Tane about  it.  Get a lovely dress/suit, Tane looks good in  a suit, still keep it simple but upgrade it a bit. Harper finally took the bull by the horns as kicked them out.

Let's hope Justina and Theo's project does happen and at least Justin has run it past Leah first instead of his usual pattern of the other way round.  $20,000 is a hell of a lot.   Of course we know why she had a change of mind, she could be forking out $5000 for the fine or do a year inside, Justin and Theo were more excited about getting the 👍 from Leah.  Why is it that much, I know she was causing a  disturbance and she spray painted that van but even so.  I get she was disappointed that Kirby's campaign   had run out of steam, but would her being fined be of any real help?   She does need to speak to Kirby first, no way would Kirby want anyone being punished for something she started.

Typical of Alf, just dropping it into the conversation he was having with Roo that he knew about her arrest.😁   It's over for now, but there will be something else they'll be wanting to get the best of the other on.

Alf's episode count this week:Four. Tane didn't appear at all: Did I miss a line saying he was out of town? With Irene, Xander. Bree and now apparently Mackenzie all away, and possibly Justin, Theo and Remi too although they'll probably come straight back next week, the town's looking a bit sparse!

It still feels like Dana's focusing on the wrong issue, ignoring how fast this is all happening and instead thinking the important thing is to give Harper a big wedding.I dunno, maybe Dana's convinced herself that Harper and Tane will work out in the long-run? Harper did get very defensive with her (what's wrong with talking to Mackenzie?) but seems to have come round to her way of thinking by the end.I did like Dana being the annoying but well-meaning sister.

Well, turns out some calm and measured talking from Kirby was the best way to stop Leah's self-destructive publicity bid in its track and even shame Contract Advertising into making an apology: It's a relief that they're not another Stunning Organics! No word on if they're going to take the billboard down though...

Mackenzie's still-unseen mother provides another excuse for her to leave town! Is it really going to be down to Levi and possibly Eden to run Salt if Xander doesn't come back?

It's been so long since Roo mentioned applying to be a foster parent, not helped by her being absent for half of last year, that I wondered if it would be quietly dropped but nope, seems "the famous caravan park" (as I believe Shannon once put it) is opening its doors for business again!

Mayhap Tane's actually working at his gym instead of letting his staff/trainers do all the work.

Dana could be coming at it from the wrong angle, and Harper is digging her heels in  as she feels bullied.  Seeing as Harper been confined to the house so not able to speak to people herself she felt Dana was gossiping behind her  back about her (and Tane's) business.   As I've said before, it doesn't have to be flashy just upgrade it a tad. Dana did get one thing right Harper should talk to Tane, it's her wedding too.

Brief mention by Levi of Abby having counselling  which after what she'd gone through is a good idea.  I'm supposing Eden was offered it?

Mac is running Salt single handed, I know she did that when she first came to the bay, but then, well we know why, she and Flick teamed up and Xander was their third hand so to loose two important members would be hard to get your head around.  Oh dear, dear Levi you have no idea do you, being a surgeon is nothing like running a restaurant, you'll be working with people who are  able   to talk back to you is a whole new ball game.

Leah heard me and she did talk to Kirby about her threat about not going to court, and like I thought she  might Kirby railroaded it, by putting her 'thoughts' up on her social media page, thanking her supporters and saying she didn't want anyone punished for what she started.  It had a really positive outcome too as she got even more followers and  Advertising had to back  down and change the photos back to how they should be together with  a letter of apology so YEH Kirby.  Perhaps they will change the billboards.  I'd pin up that letter in the board shop.  Leah went to court and got fined  $5000, is she going to tell Justin - remember what you and Justin promised Maz and John - no more secrets/no lies.

It has been a while since Roo applied to be an emergency  foster parent, back when Tane was hoping to foster Maia/Poppy, but as he wasn't an Australian national he couldn't so Roo stepped in.   It's not going to be easy a 14 year old girl suddenly pitching up on their doorstep with very short notice.  They are going to have to play it by ear, hopefully Maz won't overwhelm Eliza.  Not a good sign, her talking about her last foster home burning down and her foster parents dying, then us seeing her playing with  a lighter.

Well, it's a new week, so time for Cash and Eden to emerge from their bubble and have to deal with other people's opinions.Tane is supportive but asks some questions that Cash hasn't thought about before.Remi is concerned but prefers to go out and get drunk with Dana (or at least at the same table as her) rather than have a full conversation. It did at least lead to Cash and Eden talking.I wasn't expecting Cash to be quite as forward as he was and it's probably sensible they don't try and immediately jump back to where they were.I'm glad Cash is acknowledging he hurt her, at least.Has he always been like this?It felt as though, despite apparently coming out the other side, he was still acting as though he's not quite in synch with the rest of the human race. He's a cheap date too: I wondered if his "surprise" dinner would just mean Salt but they didn't even make it that far!

Harper wimps out of talking to Tane and is quick to back off when she does broach the subject.Dana's intervention really wasn't helpful. It still feels like she's fixating on giving Harper the wedding she wants rather than worrying about whether Harper's going to have the marriage she wants.

I loved the reference to Maddy, who is probably the person Roo's treated most like a daughter over the years.Eliza...well, I'm not sure if we're meant to deduce that she started the fire or if she's just become a bit obsessed as the result of it.Despite her seeming withdrawn, there's hopefully someone in there that a bit of Summer Bay magic can reach.

Both Tane and Remi questioned if Eden and Cash were just going to take up from where it was left.  Cash was being presumptuous thinking  what he had done wouldn't have had an effect on Eden. They need to take it slow  as she needs to be able to trust him not to have another meltdown and dump her again. The last serious relationship we saw him in was with Jasmine, I don't think he'd been that close with anyone before, I think it was mentioned when he and Flick were having one of their talks. Maybe they didn't want people talking which they would have if they'd gone to Salt.

Harper is well known for wimping out of actually saying what she should to Tane, last time it was her keep putting off telling Tane she was pregnant because he was involved with Perri.   She did have the grace to look sheepish when Dana  tackled her about it.  I think Dana's frustrated that Harper's possible wishes are being overlooked as she is just going along with what Tane thinks their wedding should be like and she was drunk when she laid into him.  Ouch moment when Harper said you only get married once.

A bit nit picky of Tane when Cash said brides are allowed to change their mind about what wedding they would like and he replied but she, Harper,  hasn't changed her mind she agreed with me she only wanted a  small ceremony. OK there isn't  a lot of time if they want to be married before Archie arrives but they can sort something out and their friends would be there to help in any way. They do need to actually talk and  he needs to listen.

Oops slight error on my part, apparently no-one died in the fire.  Was Roo an official foster mother when she took in Maddy?   Guess none of them would know what to expect with Eliza but the clue is in the name -  emergency fostering.  Small  niggle I know and I may have missed it but did Marilyn get introduced to Eliza?  People, will of course, jump to the wrong  conclusion - or not - if Eliza is a fire starter.  We still don't know that much about her history and if she had been in many foster home which would mess with her head.  That box obviously means a lot to her.  Oh btw the way it was lovely seeing that bedroom again, we haven't seen it for yonks.   The last time I think was when Bella was there.  Will Eliza be climbing out of the window as Kirsty and Jade used to.
