Elise Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Hmm, That could work too.... 10,000 Days - Tool. You need to scroll to number 4 - song title 10,000 days. Oh, and Aenima - Tool You need to scroll to number 13 - Aenima (song title) And both songs kicked butt live, so my experience with these songs are even better!

Oxidizer Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Masquerade by L'Ame Immortelle: My only friend was solitude And only darkness seemed to care So I forged this dreadful mask That I am cursed to wear Now everyday it’s staring at me Hanging from the wall “Without me you are useless!” “Without me you will fall!” Now I’m scared and I’m afraid Of the roles that I have played Of vows I broke and vows I made It`s time to end this masquerade “Without me noone loves you!” “Without me you’re alone!” I cannot live without you I can’t be on my own When I wear you day by day I am a king, come what may But I know that some day I will know the price to pay I see it clearly now - the end It’s time to say goodbye my friend I have to live as who I’d be Without a mask protecting me ...
xGlowingAngelx Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Goo Goo Dolls - Iris: Verse 1 And I'd give up forever to touch you Cause I know that you feel me somehow You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be And I don't want to go home right now Verse 2 And all I can taste is this moment And all I can breathe is your life Cause sooner or later it's over I just don't want to miss you tonight Chorus And I don't want the world to see me Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am Verse 3 And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming Or the moment of truth in your lies When everything seems like the movies Yeah you bleed just to know your alive Chorus And I don't want the world to see me Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am Chorus I don't want the world to see me Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am I just want you to know who I am I just want you to know who I am I just want you to know who I am I just want you to know who I am
Cerise Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Freaky I was just looking for those Lyrics
Jess Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 None of you have probably ever heard of this song, but it has some of the most amazing lyrics I know. Stained Glass Masquerade - Casting Crowns Is there anyone that fails Is there anyone that falls Am I the only one in church today feelin’ so small 'Cause when I take a look around Everybody seems so strong I know they’ll soon discover That I don’t belong So I tuck it all away, like everything’s okay If I make them all believe it, maybe I’ll believe it, too So with a painted grin, I play the part again So everyone will see me the way that I see them Chorus Are we happy plastic people Under shiny plastic steeples With walls around our weakness And smiles to hide our pain But if the invitation’s open To every heart that has been broken Maybe then we close the curtain On our stained glass masquerade Is there anyone who’s been there Are there any hands to raise Am I the only one who’s traded In the altar for a stage The performance is convincing And we know every line by heart Only when no one is watching Can we really fall apart But would it set me free If I dared to let you see The truth behind the person That you imagine me to be Would your arms be open Or would you walk away Would the love of Jesus Be enough to make you stay Chorus (x2) Well if the invitation’s open To every heart that has been broken Maybe then we close the curtain On our stained glass masquerade Is there anyone that fails Is there anyone that falls Am I the only one in church today feelin’ so small
Liz Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Heaven - originally Bryan Adams (I'm a huge fan of the DJ Sammy trance/techno cover). Oh, thinking about all our younger years There was only you and me We were young and wild and free Now nothing can take you away from me We've been down that road before But that's over now You keep me coming back for more Baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven Oh, once in your life you find someone Who will turn your world around Bring you up when you're feeling down Now, nothing could change what you mean to me There's a lot that I could say But just hold me now Cause our love will light the way And Baby you're all that I want When you're lying here in my arms I'm finding it hard to believe We're in heaven And love is all that I need And I found it there in your heart It isn't too hard to see We're in heaven I've ben waiting for so long For something to arrive For love to come along Now our dreams are coming true Through the good times and the bad I'll be standing there by you
Si-Co Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Thought it was time to resurrect this thread: Hello (Turn Your Radio On) by Shakespear's Sister Woke up this morning and the streets were full of cars All bright and shiny like they'd just arrived from Mars And as I stumbled through last nights drunken debris The paperboy screamed out the headlines in the street Another war and now the pound is looking weak And tell me have you read about the latest freak? We're bingo numbers and our names are obsolete Why do I feel bitter when I should be feeling sweet Hello, hello turn your radio on Is there anybody out there? Help me sing my song La la la life is a strange thing Just when you think you learned how to use it It's gone Woke up this morning and my head was in a daze A brave new world has dawned upon the human race Where words are meaning less and everything's surreal Gonna have to reach my friends to find out how I feel And if I taste the honey is it really sweet And do I eat it with my hands or with my feet? Does anybody really listen when I speak Or will I have to say it all again next week Hello, hello turn your radio on Is there anybody out there? Help me sing my song Hello, hello turn your radio on Is there anybody out there? Tell me what went wrong La la la life is a strange thing Life is a strange thing Hello, hello turn your radio on Is there anybody out there? Help me sing my song La la la life is a strange thing Just when you think you learned how to use it It's gone
