Nim Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 I know the feeling. I was so hoping it was a fake spoiler about him being killed...but alas, to no avail. The people who said he fakes it were just clinging to false hope, I'm afraid. He is definetley dead........even though I heard no bang. Just saw him staggerring towrds Sharon clutching his chest... Very good acting from Nigel and Tish though, it was heart-wrenching stuff. Had me in proper tears! Nigel wanted out for good, so there was never any chance that he would return anyway, but typical EastEnders to go for the big ratings-grabber rather than giev Shannis a nice happy ending. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Metaphorical bang
Ashirr-Leigh Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Posted December 30, 2005 I blame the actress who plays Sharon.. she won't bloody leave!! How many times has she left and then popped back again? She's so annoying. Dennis just about made her bearable, now it's just going to be her - crying. Can't deal with that!
aejdude Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 I heard somewhere sharon leaves aswell but how will she go out the programme, i guess they're have to come with a whole new storyline for her.
Mrs Mark Furze Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Poor Sharon, she never has a lucky break. The scene @ the end of tonight's episode was very moving, him hugging Sonia & Martin's little girl, Rebecca & then going out into the Square & as he looks his worried wife in the eyes from a distance in the crowd of people celebrating the imminent New Year he is stabbed by one of Johnny Allen's hired hench men, walking over to his wife, staring @ her as he dies infront of her face, falling to the ground, clutching her hand, looking her in the eyes, he touches her stomach, saying his last words "we did it". Sharon screams as the one true love of her life takes his last breath infront of her & is cruelly snatched away. Her hysteria bringing the entire community to surround them as the cameras move out & everyone realises that Walford's most talked about hunk, Dennis Rickman is no more. Fantastic performances from Nigel Harman & Letitia Dean. Nigel got a huge exit, Dennis' murder will be gripping us for some time. The one decent thing Phil Mitchell will ever do is rid the Square of Dennis' killer, the evil Johnny. Nigel is hugely talented, he is now in the Musical Guys & Dolls @ the Piccadilly Theatre in London & filmed his final scenes as the loveable one time romeo in October. Good luck Nigel for the future, i wish you much success.
claire_louise Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Why would there be a bang? Wasn't he stabbed? Yep, I blame Letitia too. If only she'd agreed to go for good, they could have sailed off into the sunset together. Seriously, though, how much more can Sharon suffer? She's lost her mum, dad, fiance and husband in the space of five or so years. Just leave the show, Letitia, and let poor Sharon be! I think I may be traumatised...
Ashirr-Leigh Posted December 31, 2005 Author Report Posted December 31, 2005 I'm definitely traumatised!! Let's blame all the deaths in the square on Sharon. They constantly need to think up new storylines for her.. so alot of people around her die. If she goes, people might have a chance of living! I'd be too scared to be her friend!
liam99998204 Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 I have to say i loved last nights episode. It was fantastic with them showing all the different people of the square grieving for Dennis. I also like Deano he seems ace and there was a great mix of comedy and drama last night. As for Rosie and Mike. There is obviously an affair on the cards its just a matter of when it happens. I'm not sure if i like this or not. Liam
Pierced Musie Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 I really liked the Dot & Phil scene. It was nice to see a different side to Phil and it was touching.
Liz Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 ^ Dot brings out the best in any character (especially Dennis, nawww). EE has dried up a little, IMO. I had high hopes when the Mitchell bruvs returned, but I haven't seen anything of their usual standards yet.
