Oxidizer Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 I've got nothing against redheads but my god, what the frick has happened to Albert Square? It's like a ginger refuge or something! All EE is about is ginger people and their silly upbringing, it's so boring! Even the new bad guy is on the ginger side The Brannings are the stupidest family ever.
Izzy H Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 The are only two Brannings that I like - Max and Bradley.
emmy Posted September 4, 2006 Report Posted September 4, 2006 Awwwh yay Honey and Billy are married! Bless them! lol I can't stand Jim's character at the moment! This whole Max storyline has really shown a horrible side to him! And Bradley - pressurizing(sp?) Stacey into an abortion! How rude!
Danifan Posted September 13, 2006 Report Posted September 13, 2006 For those of you who (like me) are a fan of Louisa Lytton should watch as she has been confirmed as one of the new contestants on Strictly Come Dancing. Hopefully she'll do really well. I'll be rooting for her and Emma Bunton as, after all these years, i still have a soft spot for her. For the women: - Emma Bunton (singer) - Georgina Bouzova (actress) - Claire King (actress) - Louisa Lytton (actress) - Mica Paris (songstress and TV presenter) - Jan Ravens (comedy actress) - Carol Smillie (TV presenter) For the men: - Matt Dawson (World Champion rugby player) - Ray Fearon (actor) - Nicholas Owen (newsreader) - Mark Ramprakash (cricketer) - Peter Schmeichel (former Manchester United goalkeeper) - Spoony (DJ) - Jimmy Tarbuck (comedian and entertainer) ualty) and Carol Smilie.
claire_louise Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 That's actually a pretty good line-up. I actually know who most of them are! I think Emma will do well. I know Eastenders has been criticised for the down's syndrome storyline, but I actually think it's been really good. The parents of the baby who plays Janet were on tv this morning and they said it's been done really well. Seeing as they went through it themselves I think they're the best ones to judge. I'm also really impressed with Honey (is her real name Emma?). Her acting has been much better than I expected. I always loved her character but wasn't sure she'd be able to pull off anything serious, but she's doing brilliantly.

LIZ83 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 isnt stacey's brother( sean?) fit??? mmm gives me somethineg to look at anyway lol! The stacey storyline! well iv missed a few epps ! Do we really know if she went through with it?? and the honey and billy story well I really dont mean to sound horrible but with the baby stoyline in corrie and this storyline in EE im just getting a bit bored! I dont mean to sound dispespectfull at all I know down syndrome people but both storylines just seem 2 be a bit tedious! xxx
claire_louise Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 It's true that the constant baby dilemmas are getting a bit depressing. If that doesn't put you off having children I don't know what will! Oh and yes, Stacey had the abortion.

I am actually really enjoying these episodes as I think that they have been really well written and acted IMO. A few years ago on EE, Ricky and Bianca's baby was found to have spina bifida on the scan of the baby. They were given the worst prognosis possible, that the baby would have terrible brain damage and would not be able to walk. They simply gave them the worst diagnosis possible for the storyline, then when Bianca had an abortion (which was immediately suggested by the doctor), Ricky and Bianca hardly grieved at all IMO. This storyline has been much better written and acted IMO than Bianca and Ricky's storyline previously.
