I would love to know how Dot is going to cope when the smoking ban in England comes into affect! That would be very interesting to see! We've had it here in Scotland for just over a year now! Although I myself smoke,It's been a very good & positive thing. I don't mind not smoking in public places!

I don't think Ian or Phil will leave. There have been rumours about Adam Woodyatt wanting to leave for ages, with some magazines/websites even giving details of supposed 'storylines', but they never happen. Apparently he is frustrated that his character is always the butt of everyone's jokes, but he's been like that for about 20 years! Surely if he was going he would have gone by now? As for Phil, if he was to leave it would be all over the papers as he's one of their biggest stars.

Stella's completely psycho, she seems to get worse each episode. It's great drama though and Eastenders need that at the moment as well as to develop a few of their characters as i really liked seeing a different side of Garry last week with his Mom. I'd like the lesser used characters to become more central then they too might become viewers favourites.

It was on digitalspy a few weeks back, that eastenders are willing to flaunt the rules over Dot’s smoking, to keep in with the character, but i have noticed that Pat another heavy smoker does not seem to be smoking.

I find the storyline with Stella and Ben very disturbing to watch, and i cant wait for it to be over. There are many sick people out there that might copy the actions of Stella, i am aware this sort of behaviour happens daily, but as Eastenders is a depressing soap as it is, is there a real need to put more misery in to it. Thankfully my young children are in bed usually when it air’s, but i will make sure they do not have the opportunity to watch the repeat on Sunday. :(:(

That's what i like about Eastenders they aren't afraid to cover the serious issues, even if they are controversial and they don't insist on making every issue have a funny side (like Corrie did with Cilla's cancer). It's more effective this way and far more effective on the viewers as it provokes a reaction which i like. I do wish someone would cotton on to Stella though, surely someone's noticed she's off her rocker by now, she doesn't exactly act normally at the best of times.
